I liked the sam max games telltale made, the animation worked well with it, however i dont like it with monkey island :x
But at least theres a sequal and i bet they wont let us down with the plot line and comedy; and we still have all the orginal voices x3
MI4 wasnt the old team thats why I think it was so bad, and I think they kinda screwed up the story a bit. TellTale were part of the old monkey games tho so im sure they wont let us down =3
I gotta agree with the rest of you, i don't like the animation at all. Curse of Monkey Island animation would've been perfect or something in that nature. But i don't wanna speak too soon, i'm just glad there is a damn sequelXD! Probably the last so it should go out with a bang.
the MI music always makes me happy and reminds me of my childhood infront of the Amiga, but this animation style I do not like... Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island style is something I really like, it looks more mature than this... Nevertheless... I will be getting the first episode.
Hmm...I'll keep my fingers crossed. I really miss the MI3-style graphics, and I wasn't terribly fond of Curse of Monkey Island, but at least this is a start.
They really need to get Gilbert, Grossman, and Schafer to write the series again...The series began to lose the magic in part 3 but thankfully the 2d animation saved it. If they can produce a classically animated style with the original authors, *THAT* would be something quite extraordinary. I'm really looking forward to playing this, but if the dialogue in the trailer is any indication of what's in the game, I'm a little worried.
