  • Probably the fastest a lotus car has ever been

  • He's so shit at changing gear!

  • he make it look so easy to control that beast

  • In my opinion, that gearbox went into scrap...

  • the camera is actually situated on top of the helmet, not in his helmet, so the head movement would be slightly more exagerated

  • Love this engine sound and in my opinion it sounds better then Bieber >.<

  • @lkjfdaglksfdg I do agree, f1 engines sound amazing, but i would rather listen to a blender full of bolts than listen to bieber. no exageration by the way.

  • @lkjfdaglksfdg i farted yesterday and it sounded better then Bieber

  • sounds like f1 2010, hehe

  • David Coulthard testing the Red Bull in Austin dirt, had more grip than this street in russia.

  • se ve que el piloto es severo buñuelo¡¡¡¡

  • this camera is awensome

  • that car sound was just so bad :( it was screaming like a girl...

  • @xBuzz996 it is because the car was running on russian vodka.

    ThH - Norway

  • @kakashix12 @dobakito44 doughnuts involve a full rotation and i didn't see one. just sort of half circles. the bit about losing control was only banter. i don't doubt his ability as a driver.

  • Great video! So is this the street circuit that will be on the calendar in 2014, or just a demo layout?

  • hm I was there+)

  • he didn't really do doughnuts. just lost control.

  • @treturouscarnage he did doughnuts.. hes an F1 driver, im pretty sure hes skilled enough not to loose control of the car..

  • @treturouscarnage think of V8 racers, Le Mans, F3, etc. He's F1 so that's got to mean something.

  • 1:44 best downshift. That blip/rev match can probably heard for miles, almost like gun chatter.

  • Dude just shift before the speed limiter!

  • @Wessellaro He was spinning the tires on purpose.

  • @MarsManatee Dude 1:58

  • 1:55 WOW at the acceleration. And thats just an exhibition.

  • one thing a can't understand. why did they put on wet track tyres?

  • @Zokney01 For better grip. This is a demonstration of the cars not a race, and there are alot of people close to the track. No point putting slicks on as its less safe.

  • @Zokney01 This tyre is softer than the option tires, an because of the dust they put these on to give the car more grip, you can see how hard to control the car such on a dirty track.

  • @Zokney01 i believe those arent wet tyres. I believe those are just some cheapest f1 tyres.

  • big liiiike!!

  • AWESOME!!!! Thumbs on for this!!

  • AUDIO = DOPE!

  • F1 Moscow GP could be great...

  • very strange rev limiter, thought it was a more rapid fuel cut

  • Great car control from Luiz Razia... awesome!

  • why full wet tyres when there wasn't the rain?

  • @JohnTocky i think they are just demonstration tyres

  • @JohnTocky hey mate, its so he could rip donuts, because full wets on a dry surface = low traction

  • someone needs to get a headcam on for a race

  • to those that want this camera in proper f1, watch David Coulthard's very short Brazilian GP in 2008. He had a helmet cam that was level with his eyes, so we could see exactly what he was seeing

  • @nhf1CoCa it was around his chin area, very hard to see outside the cockpit in that view. could only see the steering wheel

  • amazing sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • he has no feeling for the pedal ! ;D

  • der penner hat ja gar kein gefühl fürs pedal

  • He can't shift i swear? :L

  • no

  • Luiz Razia o Brasil confia em você

  • What a warm crowd...

  • cool logo animation^^

  • Anybody notice the left wheel not moving at 1.45

  • Anyone who looks at this vid and works for a f1 team, bring something like this to Cardiff!! I remember about 5/8 years ago redbull did and it was awsume!! Bring the f1 to the public for a change, instead of the public spending hundreds if not thousands having to go to there nearest circuit, remember you f1 teams as much as we love the sport, with no public, you don't really have the sport

  • @Danovic143.they do.press the red button on bbc

  • this looks like a super-realistic f1 2010 mixed with COD

  • @mailmeonline Sorry! F1 doesnt involve in Kids games

  • @HawkZachary lol, i don't even own a console or pc powerful enough to play this game, i was just saying...and i love f1

  • @mailmeonline its a crime to use the words realistic' and 'call of duty' in the same sentence

  • it sounds like f1 2010 game.. IDEM!

  • Камера на шлеме, т.к. камеры на болиде используются специально для трансляций - видимо сюда их не привезли) Да и машины тестовые.

  • камеру трясет из за качества дорог?

  • Slick tires require that the driver goes flat out from start to finish to keep the heat in them.

Treaded tires can keep the temperature at a lower pace since it's dry.

  • круто)

посмотрите вот здесь, и покруче увидите)

    hiddenidol. com

  • от это мощность!

  • наконец то

  • @SergioSiverlyDrummer he has inters on thats why on a dry track, ye there are puddles but its still dry

  • Someone high up in f1 better come across this vid :D

  • Comment removed

  • And people say the drivers head simulation in Shift 2 is over exaggerated.

Really wish drivers were made to wear helmet cams. Though aren't helmet cameras banned in many sports? I think they were banned in Dakar for killing a few competitors.

  • @Zeggawong how can a helmet can kill a spectator? really?

  • @gmiky He said that they had previously killed competitors. Not spectators. Don't know how they can kill competitors either, Not unless it was a HUGE camera contained inside a massive cowboy hat like Homer Simpson working covertly to nail Apu for health violations.

  • @Zeggawong I believe the reason is that any alteration to a helmet in order to fit a camera changes it structurally, so the helmet is no longer of the specification homologated by the FIA, and are therefore illegal. Helmet cameras therefore have to be added in a non-invasive way that doesn't involve any alteration to the helmet. Hope that helps!

  • @Zeggawong Helmet cams centered and mounted at eye level.

  • @Zeggawong And they are.... You are comparing a camera to someones eye...

  • @Zeggawong You do realise that the driver doesn't see all the vibrations? Think about it- you can still see out of a car when the road's bumpy. ALL games which I've seen have it exaggerated- Anthony Davidson wanted no vibration on the view in cockpit cam in F1 2010. These camera tell us pretty much nothing- too high, and doesn't have the anti-vibration function that is the human brain ; )

  • very cool, but sounds to bad (low detailisation)

  • bring f1 to Moscow! Not Sochi!

  • What tyres is he using?

  • @lsm19, i guess intermediate

  • @majestik2 @Ism19, if you pause the vid at 0:16 and look at the front left you will see they are indeed inters. The tread depth is way too shallow to be extreme wets

  • @lsm19 , rain tyres. The heavy rain was before

  • @lsm19 I think demonstration tyres. They arent allowed to use the official Pirelli tyres since they could then gather data from them and it effectively becomes a testing session.

  • @monkseyman I suspect they're just the wet tyres. after all, any data they might collect with wet tires on a bone dry track will be virtually worthless.

  • А я там был!!!

  • That was Awesome

  • You guys should start putting head cams on the driver during races and post the footage here :)

  • Man, this car's a handful, look at the steering corrections Luiz has to make, even for traction, no wonder Heikki and Jarno have a hard time

  • @justinyau7595 Do you really expect the car to be glued to the road on cold, treaded tyres on public streets? Come on... Watch onboard footage from the Lotus' in race trim, this is a decent car and Heikki is putting it to good use.

  • What kind of tires is he on, they don't look like any of the wet tires I normally see?

  • Nice Onboard video from Team Lotus Demo In Moscow earlier today :)

  • Dry conditions + 800hp = melted rain tires

  • Excellent footage, great insight into what a driver sees and all of the little movements that make you feel like you're actually in the car yourself.

The idea needs to be put forward to FOM to get helmet cameras installed, even just as a trial run to see if they would work in a race scenario. Indycar have 360 degree cameras fitted to their cars which look fascinating and would even serve to help stewards when an incident occurs.

  • team lotus is really developing...regards...loyal fans.

  • headcams in f1 would be so good!!!

  • @rossbell4622 not really, they're jinxed devices...

  • Se le espanta demasiado el coche. jajajajaj

  • i want to have this camera at the f1 races :D

  • @Danovic143 You will have to wait then. FIA tried to put cameras on the helmets on practices (2003 Barcelona, 2008 interlagos, 2011 interlagos) but drivers said: because of the drag of the camera, it is tiring to drive with a +"wing" on the helmet.

  • Wow!

  • I have waited this video, thanks.

Really many hummocks, on the screen, from TV of chambers was not so strongly noticeably
