Sound amazing... I just got my first SX in a P Bass style. Did the pickups fit right in to the existing wholes or did you have to route them out a bit.

Hey ...you totally stole my idea with the Carvin J99A Pickups...LOL! I, however, am going to pass on the Audere preamp. It doesn't have enough character for me. I am thinking about aguilar or seymour duncan. I will post something when that comes together.

BTW..you are doin your thing!!! Hope to see you around and keep posting.

PS...Which carvin did you use? J99A for both or did you use the j99AR for one?

Too funny!! Say, those pickups sound great on that SX......really bright, crisp and punchy. Nice Marcus style of playing too.

I'm really impressed with those SX basses. I wish they were available when I started playing in the 70's. Instead or forking all the money out on those Fenders, I could have taken the money saved and put into other equipment. Thanks again for the video. WELL DONE!
