Its very, very difficult to compete against Michael Jackson's catalogue put on a videogame. That alone makes this, quite frankly and probably, the very best overall soundtrack to ever appear on an "old school" videogame. Even Surpassing GENIUS tracks such as those from Yoshi's Island, Streets Of Rage, Street Fighter 2, Sonic 1 and Golden Axe 2 (just to name a few!).

I never got a chance to play the genesis version. I do remember playing the arcade version. There was always something creepy about having 3 Different Michael Jackson's on screen at once. One awesome thing they did share was the special attacks where everyone started dancing.
