I've raved my CCM 404 (same engine and carb, but lighter than the DRZ against my mates ZX6R, I keep up till 50-60, and he flies off... Not really worth racing them, unless its a tight track... not a straight line

why compare them? both have an almost completely different purpose. sure theyre both motorcycles that can go pretty fast, but the DRZ is supposed to handle things that would damage the ninja. the ninjas for speed not hard stunts like the DRZ

Yo, raced a buddy of mine on my CR500R street legal (85 model) once. He had a little tuned up Suzy 750 and I was already in 5th gear and he was in 2nd. Left him hanging so bad.. :)
