I really like how at 17 bars in, they played everything very legato. Most bands I see play this song don't do that. The trumpets did very well. As well as the baritone sax player. The tenor sax soloist really improvised that solo, since I played lead tenor and know the solo. Not to be a critic, but it didn't nearly sound as good. As well, the trumpet solo was improvised, and since it was the slow part, she added in notes, and rhythms that really didn't need to be there. But overall, great job.
I play the 3rd trumpet part on this song in my jazz band at school.
