My best time in the R8 is 7:39.824 all aids off. Stock setup exept a little less fuel in the tank:p saved 25 kg. that way =) I use a thrustmaster ferrari 430 wheel.

Yo had so many mistakes, but, I think you realize it yourself, don't you?

So, it was nice try and the main you have to do is to practice and improve you skils, than you will have better and better lap results.

This was recorded a while a go,now i got much better and learned a lot more,but i don't like the simulation in GTR2,it's not as real as LFS or RFactor...but if i got the time i will try and i'm sure i will beat this record with at leas 10 seconds...

@ADIHD rfactor and GTR games use the same engine , but I agree , LFS is much better as a sim...

need to be careful when you downshift like that, ive had times when downshifting just overheats the engine and then it gets on fire :(

how do you convert a replay into a video format?

You have to use " FRAPS " to capture the video while watching the replay, and then you have to use Windows movie Maker to reduce the size of the file.

youd probly shave at least a second off that time if you downshifted less. There were a lot of 3rd gear corners that you took in 2nd and a lot of 4th gear corners that you took in 3rd. You want to carry as much speed out of the corners as possible and bouncing off the limiter kills your speed. 7:44.772 is my fastest in the R8
