Hey dude I have a question, I have all the dss cards but some of them are not activated, like I choose Apolo and mandragora and it doesn't have any effect, there is ??? at the discription, doy you know hao do I activate the cards?

@1182061 For all the Apollo cards, I believe you have to do a quarter-circle forward + attack sort of move. That is, you do a Fireball or Hadouken from Street Fighter. For the Uranus Cards you have to do a half circle up + attack sort of move. This is while the card is activated by the way.

the game doesn't say anything from what you gonna get if you combine them, to bad i don't know the reaction when i mix Diana and Cockatrice. It just says 2times on the menu

dude i have tried so many times to get Pluto but for some reason it does not come same with apollo  why?

Item Drops are largely Luck reliant, and DSS Cards are really rare. You can try to raise your Luck Stat a little bit with items like the Luck Ring and the Rainbow Robe. You could also use the Venus-Mandragora Combo to increase your Luck by 25%. That's how I usually do it.

In the Catacombs beyond those boxes you can push, in the Chapel Tower, and in the Underground Warehouse. They are the ones that shoot both up and down, and they are slightly green.

The only advice I have is to keep at it. You could always use some items to increase your luck further. The Venus-Mandragora combo is good for that as long as your Intelligence is at or above 400. It will increase your luck by 25%.

The Trick Candle should be in the Cerberus Boss room after you beat a certain enemy or accomplish something. I don't remember exactly what you have to do, but I know that they don't appear right after you defeat the boss in the room.

There are two enemies that drop each card (except for Unicorn and Black Dog). I just chose the first one that I got them from.

Hey, I have question. How do you put in the combos to summon?

You choose the Uranus Card and the Monster you want, then you activate the Card Combo. After that, you do a half circle up starting from the bottom and press the attack button. It's a basic fighting game move, so it shouldn't be too hard to do.

Apollo is dropped by Arc Demons. Saturn is dropped by the Fallen Angel in the entrance to the Battle Arena. Pluto is in the Cerberus Boss room. Uranus is in the Iron Golem Boss room. Griffin is dropped by the Skeleton Athlete. Unicorn is dropped by the White Armor in the Battle Arena. Black Dog is dropped by Devil Armor, also from the Battle Arena.

All of those cards require you to do a half circle from the bottom to the top of the control pad followed by the attack button. In this sequence, you have to press in the direction that your character is facing. The DSS card also has to be activated.

Apollo is dropped by the Arc Demons. They are scattered around the castle. The Black Dog is dropped by the Devil Armor. You can find them in the Battle Arena.

Where did you find the Uranus and Pluto cards?

Both are dropped by those weird candle enemies. Pluto is in the first boss room with Cerberus. Uranus is in the Golem Boss room in the Clock Tower. They should be out of position, and in a different color. I think all you have to do is knock them down, but you might have to defeat the body that flies out after hitting it as well.

I know of this glitch, but I wanted to play legitimately. I didn't want to take out enemies with a power I didn't earn.

True enough, but I don't intend to play using glitches. Also, I don't know how to work that particular glitch, and I never wanted to find out. The only reason to do that would be for a speed run, and I don't do speed runs.

Maybe my resolution for 2009 would be to make a version of this game where you play as hugh (a PC game not a GBA game lol)
