I am sure that off San Fran there are some beautys swimmin around!! Off of Cape Cod Massachusetts especially Chatam there have been some 18 footers seen but what really impressses me bout this video and shark in particular she is just so beautiful and graceful never mind HUGE!!! @ Nickmorama - No they aren't. i'm a surfer from San Diego and I've come across Great Whites twice in the Pacific. They are actually really smart animals. The two times I saw them, I just stopped paddling and stayed motionless, they recognized I was a human, and wanted nothing to do with me. Great Whites only attack when they misinterpret people for Sea Lions or something else. They don't eat people on purpose. However, tiger sharks are scary. They're smaller but they'll eat people just because.
