you need to shot up close in that form and move your way back as you get the strength. you will eventually be able to shoot threes. i had the same problem. did this help any? becuase if not i know another way to help you

the other way is you stand about 2 feet from the basket and shoot 4 or 5 baskets from that spot, you shot from there til you can make pretty much all of them comfortable, then you take one step back and shoot 4 or 5 of them, til you can make pretty much all of them comfortable, and you keep repeating this til you are as far out as you would like to be. this one takes longer but it helps with your range. its also a great warm up before you shoot around or play a game. does this help any?

@Gibsonlp3 larry bird used to do that. he would shoot 10/10 from just in front of the basket then would take about a half a step back and shoot again 10/10 then again until he got to the three point line
