Everything you're talking about has no bearing on a real trader. if you're scalping on 1 minute charts then you're not a trader, you're a scalper. Look up the school of pipsology, They have a great way of teaching with everything there is to know about forex, and they put it in easy to understand terms. It's taken me about a month and a half to finish the course, but I think it's the best thing any new forex trader could possibly do to become a better trader.

i still believe that metatrader is still the most versatile of all platforms. -trading live accounts, never again on demo. my advice, if you want real performance evaluation, do it on a small scale on a live account. base your decision on real information, not demo information.

Demo account is not same bilong real one. I make 500 000 us per 4 h trade gold on metatrader. I open real account, and find it's impossebl. Maving is very low candel. I think filter cintrol this. candel is delay below realaccount!!! This is bullshit, demo accounts receive all the same quotes as live accounts the only real difference is a demo account assumes 100% liquidity, obviously on a live account you need a buyer or seller on the other end of the trade. How do I know, because I personally make a living trading Forex on FXCM and I know other people that do too. Anyone can trade thousands of lost on a demo account and make millions with minimal knowledge of technical analysis.

this video is fail..you can still make money in forex you just need a strategy..depends if your gonna be scalping or not...there is certain candlestick patterns and positive and negative divergence and indicators and osscilators that help you determine if you should enter a trade or not...

I have a micro acount with FXCM and I never seen any freezing or grayed out buttons, I did however seem stops taken out without price been anywhere near it, inspite of this I think they are probably the best microlot broker out there.

because they atleast in my case, have been letting me trade freely, I have not sen one requote under all the time with them. thats the honest truth

@satjathamma I agree. Based on most of the comments i see against FXCM, they are from people who either are new to trading, or experienced traders who still really have no clue how to accurately read charts and use indicators. The market either goes up, down or stays flat. It is not the brokers fault if you do not have the skill to spot the beginning and end of trends.

I think it's kind of sad that so many people think they can 'program' and 'automate' their way to great wealth in the forex market. I think most demo accounts are like this. I can consistently make ridiculous profits in my demo account £278 000 in 2 weeks with a £10 000 account - requotes are one issue. Stop losses and take profits also work differently. I get stopped a good few pips before my stop losses and my take profits only kick in a good few pips after which can cause all sorts of trouble. Emotion is by far the biggest factor though. It's easy to through 2 or 3 lots in a trade when it's monopoly money.

Give them (advices) and describe the timeframe you were using, was it scalping? Swing?... If i'm trading longer timeframe (1D, 8h...) i don't care if there are any re-quotes, because i'm hunting for the profit of a few hundred or thousand pips. Based on your description looks like you were trading shorter term.
