Christmas 1989 - got my Nintendo (after years and years...)

Everyone should post these; theyre the best vids ever! Look at how shiny and new that Action Set box was! "yes, Nintendo!" Kids still say that at Christmas today, but its Wii and DS theyre talking about. "can I use your Nintendo?" My little cousin asked me the other day. I always think they mean the NES, and I get all excited.

I remember getting an NES that same year! My brothers and I went completely ape-shit lol. Ah the memories...

what was it like when when the super nintendo came out 3 years later what was your reaction

@blakebru97 Well of course I was blown away by the Super Nintendo. I REALLY wanted Super Mario World and I played it a lot at Target but I was still having a blast with the NES so I actually didn't mind too much. Then a couple of years later my mom got me a SNES and it had Super Mario World and Super Mario All-Stars. It was incredible to get all that at one time! Only problem was I had to be ok with selling the NES. I was though and didn't regret it, even though I love the NES.

Did any of your friends have a Sega Master System?

Nope. My best friend had a NES so I had to go over there if I wanted to play for 4 years after it came out (until this day in the video). I only had an Atari 2600. One of my other friends had a Vectrex. No Master System around though.
