I saw Tommy yesterday live in Düsseldorf, and I have to say, I really was expecting a lot. But what happened in these 2 1/2 hours of his concert is beyond words. The variety of musical understandment, the way he progresses and journeys through acoustic ballads, rocking the electric guitar like there's no tomorrow, his great, great band, who he supports throughout the entire time. This concert was the whole package, as I've never experienced anything like that in my life that could come close.
really nice bryan, so young and already playing this good?
nice, if i could play with tommy at the same time on the stage i should be the happiest person in the world, i am learning this song too now and if i play it the same as you over a year than im really happy
Holy...shit...dude i just pinched myself to see if was halucinating cause that was fuking insane. If i were half as good as you i would be the happiest person in the world. What i would give to play onstage with Tommy....
Bryan - that was awesome. I have loved this version that Phil and Tommy do for years. And Town Hall Shuffle, I am stunned that someone so young has learnt it AND got the chance to play it live with him. I never thought I would see it played live since I don't think Phil plays live anymore.
Well done and I'd love to know what happened at 4mins where the key change is?
Did you guys rehearse the whole thing, or just get up and play it?
The standard progression composes of A, D and E. He varied between chords and harmony, there is also a passing a chord he used between A and D that I'm not quite sure yet..(I'm doing my homework at the moment ^-^)So I'll have a look at it later.
I've been playing guitar longer than you have been alive and you could play me under the table. I'm not happy about this.
