  • Vet: enjoyed your video, very informative! Keep up the good work. Peace.

  • He said cock...LMAO...sorry I'm drunk ...

  • Once it's cocked, how do you de-cock this gun?

  • TRIGUN TIME!

  • Blade runnah!

  • uhhh seeing as how thats a bottom-axis barrel you might wanna rethink the position of your right index finger unless you want the tip to get blown off

  • I was wondering a few things. do they come in 40 Cal and what is the price tag?

  • Beautiful little mama im pretty sure when you point this at that piece of shit who dosnt value there life an wants to harm you or ur family the last thing they will ever think or say is wtf!

  • this gun looks like the gun from trigun

  • I'm sorry if I missed a video or comment thread on the subject, but what is your opinion on how it shoots?

  • Are you wearing a POW braclet?

  • Its butt ugly, but SO AWESOME!

  • @amazingplatypus69 I think it looks quite cool.

  • Finally available in U.S.A.

  • i held one,,,actualy VERY comfortable grip, very natural....but butt ugly and not something id be interested in carrying.

  • Is it possible to safely uncock after it's been cocked for single action?

It looked like you did at the beginning of the video, but that was without rounds.

  • the japanese had an idea for this over 20 years ago but they have nothing to do with firearm production

  • Now we know Vash The Stampede's can CAN work!

  • @wolfwood390 HELLS yeah!

  • All that tech and research

And that's the crappy grip they put on it

    WTF

  • So if it's such an advantage to have the gun kick straight back into your hand, then why are guns shaped the way they are? It would seem a new design in which the barrel is aligned with the center of your palm and trigger pulled with the middle finger would be the most ideal.

  • @Jamiedmcdonald Auto loaders all require the slide to reciprocate, which loads the next round, therefore it is much more difficult to accomplish this with a semi-automatic handgun--something along those lines may eventually happen, however, as technology changes.

  • so its the same design of the mateba?

  • @sanzo871 The same guy designed the Mateba.

  • i remember seeing this from one of my shooting amagazines i forget which kind but i saw it

  • I want to see one in 500 AE, and then I want to see someone shoot full house loads in it. I'll bet you'll scream for some muzzle rise after that! Nice concept though.

  • U-G-L-Y

  • cool

  • Do you think this type of design could be made in a semi auto handgun? If they ever made something like that, it would revolutionize the industry...firearms would definitely change. I don't know if that would be a good thing or not for the purists. I think it would look quite funky.

  • @TheXoXSarahXoX The Mateba was semi auto...look it up.

  • @Iraqveteran8888 Too bad they stopped making it.

  • @ChishioAme Except for the part where they didn't... They're still very much in production.

  • @gduncanorganist They're still making the Mateba? Where?

  • @TheXoXSarahXoX

Look up some of the Olympic pistols. It requires putting the magazine out in front of the grip which doesn't exactly make the pistol easy to carry.

  • How did it shoot? With a .357, wrist compression should not be too bad.

Are you able to de-cock the gun?

Looked like once it is cocked, it stays that way.

  • Looks beastly.

  • looks like an abortion

  • Things ugly. But I guess thats not whats important.

  • It needs a built-in laser.

  • a video shooting this pistol?

  • I never would've thought to do that but after seeing it, it's a wonder it's taken so long to create. Awesome design! I'm definitely going to consider picking one of those up.

  • It concentrates the recoil like an AR15. FUCKING AWESOME!

  • All handguns seem expensive to me compared to long guns. I think you are paying for a lot of litigation.

  • Looks cool as hell. Lets see it shoot!

  • Looks interesting. Can't wait to hear about your range time with it. :) OH, How much?

  • It looks like a stun gun.

  • Cool.. They dug out the old Mateba designs.. for a more reasonable price than the Mateba tho'

  • i looking forward to the first shots

  • Very Nice!!!!!! Love the .357 cal.

  • Muzzle .flip.

I never had any recoil issues with my everyday Smith 586 4in.

I can't say i much like this design and all of the bells and whistles that come with it.

If it ain't broke, well you know.

  • Dang that's one FUGLY gun! That thing makes Glocks and XDs look great! Very unique design concept though. I wonder how much more accurate this is with .357 mag rounds.

  • man it looks like a toy , I just don't care for plastic guns ,polymer or whatever, I like old guns that are made of iron and steel

  • Ok I can see them wanting to reduce muzzle flip but man it looks like a box and flat-sided cylinder that’s not right. I am interested if it works.

  • Do you own a gun store??

  • Im t drnk to understand what your video is about so i'll watch it tomorrow

  • can't wait to see you shoot!

  • can't wait to see you shoot it. :D

  • : )

  • Ok, I got to say it since no one else will. That is one ugly S.O.B !

  • Thank you for referencing Mateba! Listening to the mainstream media, you'd think this is the first revolver in history to have the firing chamber at the bottom!

  • Dam thats a slick lookin revolver. I wish I could get one! :)

    -TEW

  • ive been waiting for someone with a solid rep with reviews to get one of these. sweet video man.

  • that kinda look like Deckard's pistol from Blade Runner.......ok now i want one, lol

  • I have been hoping someone would come up with some info on this revolver, and you came through again. It's not much to look at, but the barrel orientation was something I had immediately saw as being good for the recoil rise. Can't wait to see a report on how it feels in use.

  • Wouldn't a low barrel be a good thing for aim? In combat, I've read that one's aim is such that if you aim for the chest, the bullet ends up at head hight because of all the adrenaline that's going.

  • I got to handle a few of these during the shot show at the start of this year, very well made, and the trigger was pretty nice as well. I am not a revolver guy, but I might pick up one of these down the road..

  • cool!!!

  • great looking gun

  • What a cool revolver! Just906 is right, it looks very similar to the blade runner gun.

  • Cleaning rod? When does a revolver ever need to be clean?

  • @BrandXSoldier After you shoot it maybe?

  • Sights will be off , Shooting LOW , Unless you have adjustible Rear sights

  • Very cool, first one I've seen as a real working revolver..

    Thanks for the vid !!

  • I like the look of the 4, 5 and 6 inch versions better. Wonder how they shoot and how fast the reloads are.

  • I saw one of these at the last gun show I went to. Interesting design and idea.

  • getting a little carried away with indicators. if you need an indicator to tell you if an exposed hammer is cocked...

  • @cupcupculpable It's not a hammer like on a Smith or Taurus, once you've cocked it the hammer LOOKING thing goes back to rest. It's a single action activateor is the best way I can describe it.

  • pretty short barrel, if one at all. i guess this would strickly be used as self defense, but a .357 mag is like woah lol dont wanna mess with any woman with a gun like that xD

  • I saw a video of last years Shot Show that showed this revolver, I can't wait to see you shoot it.

  • wow, that revolver looks like it's from space. Really cool design. Can't wait to see some footage of it in action.

  • Mateba did the same thing with there revolvers late 80's to mid 90's

  • Weird looking. But so was the M-16 when it came out. Faster follow up shots with .357, sound bad for the badguys.

  • I like it its just the handil that I dont like

  • I saw one available on Gallery of Guns one day, but I decided not to get it. It's a little pricey and it might be good to wait a little while with a radical new design like this.

  • They look retarded.

  • looks like something that should have been in avatar

  • My god when I first looked at it, the gun reminded me of that piece of garbage the "Titan Tiger" From F.I.E. Corp. Do you remember that tank of cast metal? That's one hell of a design you have there. Can't wait to see it fired.

  • The layout of the cylinder pin and barrel is the same as the character Togusa's "Mateba" revolver from the japanese anime Ghost In The Shell.

There's full size props kicking about and even airsoft pistols of varying degrees of detail and interpretation on design, but the basic model is instantly recognisable. They're pretty chunky as well.

  • @BoydMort

Haha! and now i see two comments below that beat me to it.

    Fail on my part. XD

  • wow that is a unique design for sure!

  • I hope I'll have a proper computer to watch the final review in HD when you post it.

For now, I'll gladly say that Mateba was one of those realities that made me proud of being Italian.

  • it looks cool but looks kinda clunky for CCW how much does that bad boy weigh in at?

  • Man that is an ugly duckling, but quite genius

  • i really want to see it shoot!

  • how much they go for? 4 or $500?

  • @famasdan They are like 650

  • Cool do a video when you shoot it.

  • looks like a revolver from blade runner

  • @just906 PLUS ONE TO YOU!!!! THATS THE FIRST THING I SAID THE FIRST TIME I HANDLED IT!!!!

  • @Iraqveteran8888 calm your farm :)

  • @Iraqveteran8888 I thought the same thing, Look for this neat little wheel gun to be in some movies in the future it's certainly the most unique and visually interesting gun I've seen in a long time.

  • @Iraqveteran8888

It sorta looks like the pistol from blade runner. I'm sure you'd enjoy a 223. caliber pistol..

  • @just906 Woah you're right.

  • @just906

No it doesn't, the weapon is too stubby and this is fugly in the extreme.

  • @WatchRyder so are all guns from that movie

  • @just906

    Ugly or too long?

The blade runner weapon was a lot nice looking that this one.

  • @WatchRyder ugly

  • @just906

    I disagree.

  • @WatchRyder imfdb.org/index.php/Blade_Runner

  • @just906

Thanks for the link man, those guns look nice :)

  • Great Video !

  • yeah let us know how it shoots, ive been wonderin about these !!!!!!!

  • @ixVENGEFULxi Yeah I really want to get my hands on the 6 inch barrel version and see how it does. Not much of a carry revolver kind of guy myself, but I would still like to see how the 2 inch version does.

  • It is nice to see some new revolver designs. I really do not like revolvers that much but this one is starting to make them more interesting.

  • @ArtisanTony I know...I wish a company would produce a revolver like the Fosberry.

  • @Iraqveteran8888

There is a series of auto revolvers called matebas, but they are out of production and over priced. Plus I think its in some japanese cartoon show, so nerds drool over it.

  • @Iraqveteran8888 No kidding, that would be the first thing on my list, if someone began making replicas. I love my m1895 Nagant, I guess I just love weird wheelguns in general.

  • @Iraqveteran8888 instead of a fosberry how about a Mateba?

  • @deamoneater357

It was designed by the same european who designed the Mateba Unica.

  • dude thats awesome i had heard about that but this is the first time i have seen one, thanks for sharing

  • Liking the aggressive look!

  • Intresting design. Thanks for sharing it with us! :-)
