@ As Vince explained he's using the Reisman arrangement. This was the original tempo of that particular recording.

@doctorkazoo ,,,Vince Giordano has 3 versions of this tune in his book,,,,this is the Leo Reisman "cover" ,,,it's slower than the other versions !

@bixlives Yes, this is similar to the explanation that phredl gave me but I appreciate it just the same! Happy Feet is one of my all time favorite pieces of music. and Bix DOES live, LOL ! Great name!

some of the best music in the world. i grew up with "50's rock&roll but allways listened to 20's & 30's music when i could. did you know that the original nighthawks( ibeleive they were called coon sanders nighthawks) were from kansas city and played live on wdaf radio in the 1920's?
