Man you can't fault this woman in any way. How many ladies are out there at this age, singing like this? Fantastic stuff and many thanks to the greatest Psychobilly band ever ever ever. . . Rock on Lux Interior and Poison Ivy!
I seen her at VLV 13, and she stole the show. I've seen a lot of these original rockabilly artist, and believe me Wanda still has a great voice, as well as stage presence. Not a shadow of her youth like many of them.
Her voice is actually quite weak on this. It SOUNDS like a grandma doing it. Her short breaths are most very obvious and it is actually a bit saddening. Though I give much respect to Wanda Jackson and love her original recording.
The soul and tone of her voice, the shimmering guitar, the beat, the blues, the words, the collaboration between the Cramps and Ms Jackson... perfection.

Saw her play with Rosie Flores at the Continental Club in Austin last night. She is a doll. Loves her fans and her band.

Not the best at naming band or albums. First "the Cramps" then an album called "Heart Trouble".
