Well yea. They actually have characters you help in the later missions appear in early cutscences (and vice versa). Example: This pug appears in the 3rd bad cutscene of "Rock this Town".

Unfortunately, most of the covers on this game are shit compared to the original. It took me forever to get used to the sped up Jumpin' Jack Flash. As far as cutting down solos, it is probably for the better because it would mean they either had to make more videos in between or the player would be going longer and longer without a break. And, yeah, most new music is horrid and I wish my sister would stop blasting it every chance she gets.

Exactly, Deep Purple wrote some of the greatest songs ever, and Highway Star was probably one of the most influential songs of all time. This cover really makes me want to shoot something.

not really, while the song is awesome it wasn't really influential in anyway, other than the fact that it proved a song could be written in less time that it runs for and still be kickass. but i do agree that most shit today is murder on the ears
