  • I really want those books Historically, Technically, and Culinarily Speaking. I know there just props but they would be good books to have. All Hail Alton

  • I think that the things that the people said in the press confrence are so tipical bt not really all that good and logical qestions. I hate when people do that. It makes me rage for Chocolate chip cookies. Thats jst me.

  • All Hail Alton Agreed sgrady1911

  • ah 240p. we meet again

  • Why does neither AB or Deborah ever mention human evolution?

  • 3:52 "uncut"...teeheehee

  • Did he ever get around to doing the cured sausage episode?

  • Fish dicks!

  • I wonder if you could somehow make a sausage out of (quivering lip) bacon? I would eat nothing else until I died, which would be pretty soon after I started eating.

  • @walpoly Well I guess you could just grind the raw bacon and stuff it in a casing, but I'm not sure how true to the definition of sausage that would be...

  • @walpoly a smokey pork sausage should taste similar. Or use pork belly to make your own sausage. But the fat content might be to high for the casing to handle as the fat would render.

just keep bacon as bacon :)

  • How many typical home cooks have a meat grinder? I know I don't. Wish I did, but seems awfully expensive.

  • @0scJohnson0 my grandfather does lol but he makes his own sausage and salami

  • @0scJohnson0 Yes, I agree about most home cooks not owning a meat grinder. However, you might find buying one a wise investment - especially if you prefer better quality ground meats. Also, I have been able to save enough money by grinding my own meats, to pay for my own grinder with the savings. I typically go to the grocery store and purchase whole roasts - round or chuck and they cost less than their ground versions. I take them home and grind them. Chicken, pork, & turkey work just as well.

  • @tracieandus

I admit, it'd be pretty neat to have one. Maybe I'll start dropping the hint that I want one now for xmas.

  • @0scJohnson0 Na, a hand crank isn't too bad.

  • I love the shows where he is making some meat dish......it seems to fit his personality the best.

  • Yum

  • omg he didn't pull the nutmeg out of his pocket

  • 2:06 GEORGE BUSH LOL! alton always kicks food ass!

  • What a sausage fest! Hahah! I love AB's vids.

  • LOLOL

  • I love how he used a Texas Toast-size cut for this example. Let me know if I'm wrong, but wouldn't any stale bread be just fine for this or are there some you shouldn't use for cleaning grinders?

  • Cool thanks for the tips easy neat way to clean and store it

  • I store my porkert #8 in rice just like alton, but still I get a tiny bit of rust. so i always coat with just a bit of oil. works like a charm. I haven't tried the bread cleaning trick though...

  • AB is a culinary genius

  • is this really your channel alton

  • Looks like Alton *doesn't* hate rosemary after all.

  • i saw The Chicken! "Fry sum more!" lol

  • doesnt he say in the corn episode that rice doesn't absorb humidity from salt shakers, but just physically helps break up clumps? im confused...

  • the corn episode you are talking about is the popcorn episode, and he learned from his mistake, because that's from a later season

  • I thought he said it did absorb the humidity but the actual rice grains break after time and come out with the salt.

  • I love alton brown

  • I love alton brown

  • ALton says YUUUUMMMM to liverwurst!

    This man is my hero!

  • bow down to alton brown

  • @sgrady1911 I want etymogically speaking

  • Look at the meat just coming out of the grinder

I could use that for Halloween.

  • yeah- for brains- and u can shape it for the organs and it'll rot, which will look extra creppy.

  • It's good eats, not healthy eats.

  • amen!

  • Hence the hand crank--Exercise!

  • He increases the force of gravity at all times
