I was at this show, I was 13, and being there meant everything to me. Too bad this video is only in segments. I used to have it, and I remember being told the taper was scared of security so kept putting the camera away. It should have been a great video too, great location and additions of the promos (and a soundcheck?) made it seem like the taper knew what they were doing.
Thanks for posting this video. I have been looking for clips from this concert for a while now, as I was at this show. I also saw U2 in Denver & Las Vegas on this tour. I remember staying at the Le Meridien Hotel San Diego at Coronado and U2 was also staying there. I stopped by at the Hotel Del and they said they were booked, but Bono & the band dropped by the night before. They had been out partying & Bono was in a rowdy mood, according to the valet. Needless to say, the concert was off great!
