Good comment. I have the good fortune to own the recording score that Jamerson played off in the studio when this track was recorded. It's the sheet music that the arranger wrote for Jamerson and musically it's nothing like what he actually played. He used to take one look at the music scores they gave him and throw them on the floor, which means they are quite rare - Most of them went in the bin. He would throw them on the floor then start playing his own thing - That was Jamerson.
