So can it come with a bar or not? Just wondering, I think I might make a review of the TX-2500 Im stuck with to also warn others not to buy it. It works fine on DDR games made by konami but on ITG its not working corectly. I failed Vertex on expert because at the end my foot got caught on a screw and i got messed up. Same thing in my video of Max 300(super-max-me-mix). It also lags up on the computer at times. Anyway so if you know if you can get a Blueshark with a bar, let me know.
Well since everyone says that bluesharks are the best I'll most likely get one as soon as I can. Only downside is that there is not bar on it which disapoints me because I'm at the phase where I'm about to go over 10 footers and onto the real hardcore action(on singles). Im up to like 9's on doubles, but if i get 2, i want to make sure they are going to last, unlike the TX-2500 i got in christmass 2007. Its been disconnecting at random moments when I play on the pc and on ITG for the ps2.
I'm getting my 2 inch blueshark pad in july :) WOuld you please tell me what ps2 to usb adapter are you using? I want to play stepmania with mine too. thanks!
These are the best 3 pads i know but...i dont know which one is the best...is there like something that cobalt flux has that blue shark dosent. Or is there something about that reoctange pad that makes it the best?
The blueshark is the best out of those three. It has what both pads don't. If you can't afford the blueshark, get a cobalt flux. If you can't afford a flux, don't get the Redoctane. It's just horrible, the metal pad that is. I heard Redoctane Ignition 2.0s and 3.0s are really good.
i think the ion is the best because of its extremely quick response time. the cobalt flux feels really good when you use it and because of its flexablitlity it gives you a little extra spring in your steps. the downside is it has no bar and isnt too sturdy. the red octane is good all around but has no excellent features. but thats just my opinion. all of them work well and are worth the price they cost
I like the Blueshark better than the Flux cause its alot thicker and the arrows are solid wood panels instead of bendable plasic plus it can withstand alot more abuse than the flux. Some people like to have pads that are light and portable but I like to have it heavy like this one so it wont ever move.
Yeah bull shit retard, one the Cobalt Flux wont break. They ran multiple SUVs over a cobalt flux in a demonstration to the government to let them run their company proving they had good products. And the Cobalt Flux doesnt move I own one, with the addition of being portable.
You honestly think those arrows are wooden? Im going to let you in on a little secret, things that dont bend, shatter. Blue shark uses acrylic CF uses polycarbonate plastic (which is what they make bulletproof glass out of btw) do some research before you try to out-dumb every idiot on the internet.
ya you're a hypocrit. go do YOUR research nub. they have control boxes in the PLUG retard. so you can understand: that little thing that you plug into your ps2? ya that's the control box.
i know, mine took a shit after i tried plugging it into a super dual box pro. it's not compatible apparently, and mymybox is replacing it for free so idc that much.
Not really, u can buy the cord which comes with a control box built in for like $25 off the MyMyBox site. Also, if ure smart enough, you can buy a $5 playstation controller and solder each button on it. It's not hard at all. I'm gonna buy a cheap PC USB game controller later on and solder it my BlueShark pad later on, just for fun.
nice video :) those pads looks really promising! where can i buy/order those? btw, don't they usually come with bars? and another question: those A and B buttons are for start/select right? would it be possible to disable those buttons?
I'm happy that the screws are thick (don't screw into wood either, what do they screw into though?), the panels are thick, and the sensors are improved, my older MyMyBox model (Solomode 2200)is plagued with problems regarding all these things. Pretty soon I am getting a blueshark. :P
Thanks to your video, I think I'm going to return my Cobalt Flux (it gives me pad misses and occasionally dies out all together for a few seconds) and get one of these.
sorry...that pad looks..incredible heavy ?

Cobalt Flux ^^

i like both, but looks like a tough choice to me.

i would go with blue shark.
frumpytuin 4 years ago
Flux. Blue Sharks have internal control boxes. Control box breaks, you are out 400 bucks. Flux C'box breaks buy another one for like 50.

dude bluesharks actually do have control boxes

You can't return it though. The best CF can do is fix it or exchange it for a "working" Flux.
