I may be building something similar... Trike planned with fiberglassed or carbon fiber covered foam shell. I was basing it off the spira4u x-car concept but reverse trike shape with 150cc gy6 driving larger but thinner rear wheel via jackshaft to change gearing. Spira4u floats, so I started thinking amphibious and then found this.
I was thinking prop drive though, because jets and pumps are less efficient, but do you have info on how less efficient this pump would be than a prop? 150cc is small
wow, thats actually a pretty inovative drive system idea. its very simple and elegant. and its not too late for them to put that into production, the amphibiopus car niche is still very open. they just need to remember that in order to get back out of the water you need to have drive to the front wheels as well, as they are the first wheels to touch the ramp/shore.
