  • best opening ever!

  • that one flier's legs are unreal!!!

  • They're pretty good!

  • love their dance! :)

  • At 32, the girl on the left went WAY off the mat

  • I LOVE thier opening!!!

  • Their opening damn the best one I've seen for ghsaa and their stunts were awesome. They are awesome. Great job ladies.

  • Jamie Parrish Did an Amazing Jobb!!!! He taugh My Routine and It is so Cute (:

  • i dont care what people think of the team theyy won obiously the judges liked them better !!

  • the reason they prolly got first was cuz even though they had a mess up in their pyramid is because they had high enough difficulty in everything else tht they had the room to have a mess up and still out on top.

  • whats the name of the startinq sonq ??

  • @jazzy212180 the first song is like a prayer the GLEE remake (:

  • Their flyers had more flexibility, their formations were very original and clean, they're pyramid was more difficult and i didn't see any baskets but who cares they were very clean, original, and had high difficulty and that what wins.

  • I love my schools cheerleaders they are the best so all u hater hop off the video if u don't like it!!!! Go Ahs

  • If you're not a coach or a judge, you really don't understand how scores work. They don't score you on an overall score, they score you in individual sections. If you got a 7/10 on your pyramid section because it didn't go up and a 10/10 on your dance, vs a 8/10 and 8/10 for both sections from another team that can make all the difference between 1st and 2nd. Most of the time 1st 2nd and 3rd are a fraction of a point between the three. Especially with teams as good as these. Dont sweat it ppl

  • what is the song called for the last dance?

  • what is the song called for the last dance?

  • Super good job! Loved the little two part section between the jump sequences - totally cute. You Ladies rocked it.

  • I know a Georgia produced routine when I see it!(;

  • As an outsider who just found this video and watched it and Mill Creek, I must say that Alpha was cleaner all around even with the mistakes they were cleaner. Mill creek had more difficulty, but their tumbling was a little sloppy and they were not as clean as they should of been.

  • I thought they were great and did a very good job this year and I must say I was impressed because I have coached a few of these girls in the all star world. But if i may say, Greyson 2nd place ??? hmmmm

  • some of the best visuals with formations and motions. wow.

  • i don't know how high school cheerleading works in georgia, but a lot of north carolina high schools get choreographers from allstar companies. does anybody know if these teams do the same?

  • I love the music they choose, good team!

  • i went against them...

    tough to beat...good jobb

  • i LOVE the first stunt it looks so clean and executed very well! (: good job alpharetta!

  • absolutely beautiful stunt sequence!

wonderful song choice, it definetly gave them the WOW factor!

  • what happened to the girl at :31 ,did she fall off the mat?

  • very good love this (:

  • Im going to try out for cheerleading and all i can do is a cartwheel and maybe just maybe a handstand to bridge and mayeb stand up. Any tips?

  • Who didn't finish her tumbling? I've watched a couple of times and I don't see it?

  • @kaileymc @30 sec when the 4 split out for hand hand fulls, the front left girl does not throw the full.

  • @kobenic

That is the girl that broke her foot the day before.

  • @kaileymc the girl at the left bottom corner at 0:30-0:34

  • where is forsyth central's video?

  • loooove the beginning ! and wheres columbus high school this season? i was looking forward to seeing them or am i blind and i cant find them :P

  • And this is great because we have 2-4 great examples of both kinds. The arguing really is pointless. BTW I am from Kansas and we are not allowed to do baskets PERIOD in hs so having a basket or not does not make a good or bad routine. Just sayin'. :)

  • Not being from Georgia and having no bias in the matter, I just think we should remember that there are 2 different kinds of cheer routines. There's clean, collegiate, and crisp that hit's every time, but might lack in difficulty, and there's routines where everything is amazing and advanced, but it might not stick every time. I'm not saying one is better than the other, because they are both great strategies.

  • this routine is really good. my best friend goes to alpharetta. but really, holy hell its like watching an all-star team. good job girls.

  • the girl that in the front on the left side is the best i say, because look how good balance she has, very good routine (:

  • Grayson sucked, Alpharetta won lets just move on (:

  • @ilovedean15 Grayson didn't suck. Neither did Alpheretta. They won. Great for them. So shut up and stop saying that they sucked.

  • BEST team ever, Just saying, i love the bow and arrow part, Im glad yall on cause you all deserved it (:

  • Their first stunt gives me chills.... Besides the few mistakes they had, they were still sick. They deserved that 1st place! :)

  • @JeauDacious But for a bow deduction the judges thought Mill Creek was the best team that day so obviously they were first place material, just unfortunate that someones bow fell out!

  • @kobenic shoulda tied there bow in tighter then huh? if the judges thought mill creek was better that day they would have won. so they OBVIOUSLY WERE NOT FIRST PLACE MATERIAL. considering there highest score all year was a 265 and alpharettas was a 280.

  • @kobenic well then they should have tied there bow in tighter then huh? if the judges thought mill creek was the best team that day they would have won.. but they didnt! they got 3RD! so they OBVIOUSLY WERE NOT FIRST PLACE MATERIAL. especially since there highest score this year was a 265 and alpharettas was a 280! PLEASE get outta here with that bull! ^^

  • @gagirlsarebetter Why yare you so defensive? I don't have ties to either school but for you to say that they were NOT first place material is dumb. The judges scored them higher that's a fact. It doesn't make a difference what that scored all season cause it's completely different judges at State. None of those competitions matter which is why neither team scored that high at State and that's a FACT. I agree they should have tied their bow tighter though. Now take a deep breath and relax :)

  • look up sccheervideos2010 youtube account and view Northwestern high school and see how innovative it is :)

  • who cares if they didnt complete the pyramid?? they still hit it. at least it tells you the left fly isnt relying on her shoulder sit to hold the weight of her foot! very nice routinee, they deserved to win!

  • @cheerobsessions yeah 0:31 and 1:55 funny right? Funny how they STILL WON with those mistakes. so laugh away(:

  • why state your opinion if it doesn't matter? the only opinion that matters are the judges and they seemed to think Alpharetta had the best routine even without hitting. so in the end your opinions don't matter because Alpharetta girls are the ones who will be wearing the rings!

  • Comment removed

  • @cheerobsessions GA High School rules don't require baskets, it's looped in with jumps so you don't actually have to do baskets.....another crazy high school rule :)

  • @cheerobsessions it's not necessary because baskets are counted for the Pyramid category

  • Comment removed

  • @cheerobsessions What's the point of higher and higher baskets? Been there, done that. I'm glad to see they proved you can win with innovation and creativity.

  • @CheerVidcom

Wouldn't really call it inovative and creative when both schools are performing the same opening stunt and same dance/dance music with small tweeks. They won and Congrats like I said it was a great routine, and entertaining.

  • Alpharetta won state whether you agree they should have or not doesn't matter so stop giving you opinions

  • @gagirlsarebetter No one can deny that they won, and that's awesome for them, but people have a right to their own opinions. You don't have to read them if you are bothered by them. I mean you have to know people will make comments when you win without hitting your routine. I still think it's a great routine even if they didn't hit and another team in SC has the same stunt sequence and dance/dance music :)

  • @gagirlsarebetter umm people are eligible to state their opinions.

you have the ability to not read them.

(btw, i'm not aiming this at you personally, this goes for anyone)

  • @AsianTumble10 I think she just means that alpharetta had bobbles but they're always innovative every single year with a total different and complicated routine. Mill Creek is one of my favorite but they're always the same in basically all of their routines. However, I personally feel that Alpharetta deserved to win because they were so innovative and hit 99% of it. this is totally random but Ola surprised me sooo much this year!! haha

  • @gagirlsarebetter I'm so happy that they finally won. In my opinion they were underrated last year but thank god this year they finally got the first place in states that they deserved.

  • @gagirlsarebetter yeah kinda like when Georgia Allstars dropped half their pyramid at prelims at the cheerleading world championships and were still in first place by 12 points...the magic or Jamie Parrish? maybe a little ;)

  • point is it doesn't matter how a team did all season, the only thing that matters is how they perform on the day of State. They have a great routine but they DID NOT execute it at State :(

  • My point is that they were the best team all season -- not just that particular day. and my comment about bitching still stands.

  • Alpharetta scored consistently in the 280s all season - im pretty sure mill creek and grayson can't say that. You cant use the excuse of an injured girl because alpharetta had one too. They were just better this year. Bitching won't change the scores.

  • @maddieelaine

Keep in mind that the judges who are scoring you with 280s or whatnot are not the same judges who were at state.

I am advocating Grayson just based on difficulty and number of errors.

The girl who fractured her ankle/foot on Alpharetta, I'm sorry for the incident. But judges will not give you nor grayson sympathy for injuries. What anyone puts out at state will be based off of how they performed that day under pressure -- not from season record.

  • @AsianTumble10

Just out of curiosity... what kind of scores did grayson get with these less-important judges?

  • @maddieelaine

I don't know of anyone's scores or care to know, mostly because I find GHSA scoring to be too inconsistent and they're too political at times.

  • @maddieelaine

But I must say that an incomplete pyramid and an incomplete tumbling pass to the front, and a questionable one-man cradle is not exactly 1st place worthy. (in my opinion, of course)

alpharetta had a great routine, very entertaining and full of energy...but it was not as clean as it needed to be ;; and i think that's what everyone's trying to point out.

  • @AsianTumble10 but those arent deductions, they had a high scoring routine with room for mistakes. just like peachtree ridge did.

  • @AsianTumble10 all the mess ups they had werent deductions though, plus they had a high scoring routine to begin with.

  • @AsianTumble10 A player doesn't make the team. If you do badly because one person is out, how do you expect to compete at the next level. There are always injuries. Failure to overcome those injuries means that you don't deserve the title anyways.

Oh! Woops! That's supposed to be aimed to maddieelaine

  • AAW! that 2 girls on the left make big mistake , but they can make the good closing salute for you all :)

  • love this routine well deserved

  • what has 5a come down to? used to be the most competitive and now you can win with half of your pyramid not connecting, slopyness and bobbles.... hopefully the next realignment of classes will give this division a little difficulty again

  • They were way better last year!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A bulk in tumbling- no baskets, a should sit drop, a bobble in the 2 mans's with a full down not making it around: come on- Grayson and Mill Creek should been ahead.. GHSA BS FOR YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • MILLCREEK was the best imo. They scored the highest and deserved to win. They had a deduction for a bow coming out. I like this routine but MillCreek was better. Grayson was good too. How can you win when your pyramid didn't even complete??

  • Comment removed

  • That was amazing!

  • alpharetta girls -- you worked SO hard this year. i think its amazing that you guys felt that this was your worst performance of the year and yet you still won. you deserve every bit of glory that comes with winning state. im so proud of you guys!

btw, the girl that didn't finish her tumbling fractured her foot the night before and still performed!

  • they don't even have baskets.. ha

  • This team deserved it. they have been consistent all year! and they are so entertaining and not boring. they were clean and earned their spot. they had few mistakes.

millcreek had a touch down in the pyramid and a bobble..

Grayson had bunch of little bobbles &their stunts were not solid.

    Congrats To Alpharetta girls.

  • @cheerisheaven Our little bobbles were because we had a flyer that got hurt on the Monday before state. We had an alternate put in on Monday. And there were bobbles in Alpheretta's, and a no-go shoulder stand. But I do really like Alpheretta's routine. They were good :)

  • Respond to this video... idk how they won but it should have been grayson or mill creek even though mill creek really won but theres always next year grayson did AMAZIING

  • Yeah, me too. I liked this routine the best in all of AAAAA, but with that pyramid miss and bobbles here and there I really thought Grayson had it this year.

  • They are super good :OO

  • wow i am in love with this team, but im surprised they got first with that pyramid mishap, the girl not finishing her tumbling, and the slight bobble in the two man stunts.
