It was bound to happen i mean they change silly little details like the fact that MAGNUS made lestat and then killed himself(if u havnt seen the movie they said Marius made him) u know they'll change big stuff
@mirta000 She loves him and in return, he loves her as well. Is it not shown and described perfectly in the book that Mael cares deeply for Jesse and does love her? He could be or might not be Maharet's lover. Perhaps, he is...but must that stop him from loving Jesse? I guess not. :)

I completely agree with this, and kudos to you for possting. Save for pretty imagery we see when we're ignoring the dumbass storyline, this movie is the biggest piece of shit ever. Preach on, violinist!
Omg, I just heard they HAD those two kiss romantically in the very end where they're currently just walking hand in hand. I even saw couple of very disturbing photos! I'm gonna puke. I don't care if I sound dramatic but seriously that "pairing" is an insult to love. I think I'll try another hate video with that Korn song... Not like this "explaining" type but the type I usually do...
Even the producer of the film says it's unlikely that Lestat'd fall for Jesse. Then throwes in "fate or circumstances" & "in a way he'd never have predicted" - so admits there's no chemitry nor realistic storyline. Thus the film couldn't end like that with any emotional logic. The circumstances, really Marius and him they'd bring together (father-son.) And fate is alwats a card used when logic fails. They fucked up but can't admit it. But at least they agree he wouldn't actually fall for her.
The only good thing coming out of QotD is Aaliyah's hips, gracing the dancefloor. At least one mildly interesting character, unfortunately not interesting enough to save this travesty.
But in all honesty, I haven't read the book (yet).
Oh by the way, I have compared this so-called pairing to Edward&Bella from Twilight; but ONLY to show JUST how f-cking ridiculous Lestat&Jesse is as it IS much much MUCH worse than Twilight which also is unrealistic and all that shit. :P I've written a whole article on that, at a site called Fanpop. But if you meant "emo" as in on a suicidal level and overly moarning over his victims, then right - hell no.

This was very dynamic. I'm gonna offer couple of my videos on the topic, as a video response. On is a regular video with a realistic song to the storyline and anothe ris mocking Jesse though witha humour touch but still seriously.
