@JimiLaMort Also has been talk for years about the release of the Reading show from 92. Ride camp swears that Fuji who owns the rights has misplaced the master tapes. Never really believed that claim, and with the release of the Nirvana dvd adds to the disbelief. Personally.....i think it's all about money. I'm guessing Fuji is asking a boatload of cash for the rights, huge machines like Nirvana have it......smaller acts like Ride don't.

Hands down, the best live band of all the early 1990's shoegazer bands. Bell and Gardner get a lot of well deserved credit, but their drummer absolutely rocked when I saw them live in 1992.

@bocphet I agree with you that Loz was a awsome drummer, it seemed so effortless for him. Drummers don't get much praise but what he added was just as much a part of rides sound as Mark and Andy contributed.

imagine Liam Gallagher doing the vocals on this song instead. It would be better than anything Oasis have ever composed and be an even more awesome tune than it currently stands as. Criminally neglected song (Ride didn't even put this on the LP version of the album - even though it was the title track of that album - their 1st).

I agree with your idea of Liam Gallagher singing on this, or a couple of other Ride songs. When Andy Bell joined Oasis at first I thought, "what a waste" but after hearing him play bass I thought he added a lot to their sound (surprise, I mean, he's amazing no matter what he does). Still I agree with what L. Gallagher would do with this, or Drive Blind, or maybe Seagull. But leave the nice harmonies to Bell and Gardner, though, they did it so well.........

Ride, Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, Chapterhouse, Medicine, Starflyer 59, and The Jesus & Mary Chain made the 90's A great decade for music if you couldn't really get too much into american grunge rock. I Listened to ride's nowhere album almost everyday in the year 1992 and I still dig it , it hasn't lost the power.

Asked a Local College station to play it at 3am after a long night of drugs and alcohol. I remember just melting away with this song. Great way to melt and Staring at the poster of the cover for this album. A blue wave with the word "nowhere". Just gazing and thinking was it "No' Where" or "Now here". Totally underrated band and far advance for it;s time. Radiohead poked their head through to make it. If Ride came around now... they would be "Now here"

the brixton show is available as a torrent not hard to find on isohunt i was only able to get 98% but its enuf to watch with out too many gaps! too bad the good ol us of a was to busy listenin to nirvana to notice the great britpop bands-but hey we got bush and oasis! we SUK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it seems to be available at e.g. Musicstack, but I've never ordered anything from there before. Nowhere, Chelsea Girl and Perfect Time are among my favourite performances from the gig, but all 17 performances are good or better.

heard vapor trail on the radio a promo spot for the show that nite.Opening for Lush at the

Gothic Theater in Littleton,Colorado. It was very good,really minimalist light show only white,used like lightning.Kids rocking out,Lush said they had to end the show,and go mkae ride babies.
