@ujb5z987 oh don't get me wrong, im not saying that an anime needs a good opening to appeal to people. i do believe however that an opening to a anime should reflect the shows style and tone. an opening like Elfen lied's or Cowboy bebop's pulls this off perfectly, and the more uniqe in which the opening can be crafted in appropriate similarity to the show itself, the more i believe it deserse to be ranked as one of the best.

@ujb5z987 cont) see the problem i have with alot of modern anime openings (especially the longer 300 ep plus ones) they all look the fucking same seriously if you hadn't put the name of the show in the corner i would not have been able to tell half of them apart or sometimes a show will get that opening that fit's it perfectly and you wish they might keep it, but the minute they change that opening to something that is shit in comparrison then to me that anime can't go into the best openings.

@PersonaVergil Yes, however an opening is not just a matter of the visuals alone its a combination of the music and editing of said visuals. it's that creative spark that mirriors the animes own speacial touch. The issue in this video and many other's is that most of what the anime fanbase deside as "best openings" are kinda all similar, theres no diversity (mostly) and another thing
