  • What's the BN power on the train?

  • my train will run for 1 second and then not run at all

  • meu irmão é apaixonado por trens ele ama s2!

  • @wesolint that would be great. i found a whole BUNCH of collectors trains in my garage a couple days ago, and started working with them to find that only 2 out of 10 work. after cleaning them pretty well i got about 5 out of 10 working ok. then cleaned the tracks, and got 7 working great, and 8, (Chessie System) not working great. i've tried almost everything, but i can't seem to get the plastics off to give a more thorough cleaning. if you could post i video that would be awesome. thanks.

  • 0:19 i have that exact same train. but it chugs a lot. *trains are supposed to chug* but it's not a good chug. do you know what's wrong? i can post a video if you like.

  • @NationalCrafter I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Does your train not run smoothly? Most times erratic operation is due to dirty track and/or wheels. Others causes might be lack of lubrication. I should post a video showing how to deal with these things. These are a very simple fixes and once you get the hang of it, can be done quickly and inexpensively.

  • i noticed that gt coil car has been in the past 4 episodes lol, awesome series.

  • @Barricade360 That's what TAA was all about, sharing freight cars around the USA on different layouts to simulate real train operations. Thanks for the compliment.

  • xd

  • i love it

  • i love your work and am very impressed....... nice commentary

  • jees how long did it take to build that layout

  • where did you buy the locos from.. i cant find them

ive been looking for bn santa fe and bnsf.

  • Thought you might like the opening shot of my video about Temagami

    Rick

  • I find model trains fascinating to film but you might find this opening shot interesting!

  • Oh, I see now, two things. First, I didn't realize you got the music out of the Youtube library, now I see the ad to download the song from Amazon. Good work, I didn't see that before and thought you had gotten direct permission to use the music.

Second, the ad for Johnson Controls (and others) I am seeing in the upper right hand corner of this page means this is a page where Youtube shares ad revenue with you, right? That's what I meant by "revenue sharing."

    Congrats on a great video!

  • @virginiatruckee Like now, I reloaded the page, and there's a picture of President George W. Bush in the Newsmax ad. I am curious, because one of my videos was approved for revenue share and I want to get that status on more. My renorailfans account got the revenue share approval.

  • How did you get Johnny Cash to give you permission to use his music in a revenue-shared video? I would love to do the same thing!

Great video, the music really makes it work!

This is not a "revenue shared" video. I never have or ever will allow YouTube that privilege. It's kind of my way of saying thanks to them, for allowing WMG (Warner Music Group) and their likes, to have control over my personal expressions.

  • Nice video of the switch job wesolint as Johnny Cash says these cars have "been everywhere".

  • yup

  • hey where are u guys located and can i bring some of my own trains to run on the layout??

  • I love all the Vids!!!

  • ive been everywhere man

  • TrainSpotterX invites you to view trains of australia .... over 100 videos to view.

  • WOW!

  • Excellent video!

  • wow where can you get trains that have a blinking light on the top?

  • who makes those SD60's ?

    proto2000?

  • hey wesloint wat is the name of the song by jonny cash

  • I've been everywhere (man)

  • what he said

  • Yea, where is this club located? I'm working on my Amtrak and passenger trains projects now but i would love to run a nice long coal train on there----right now, i am building up a nice Amtrak Superliners train w/ MTH cars and extra express boxcars and baggage cars.

  • Were is this club located?

  • That layout is awesome. Would love to run my BN-ZSM unit coal train (70 cars) on there. (3 SD-40's, 1 Alco C-636)

  • Bring it down and set it up!

  • my layout is nothig compared 2 this1.i like the music 2

  • Mine either. This is a club layout and through the magic of editing, I've made it look pretty good. Don't sell yourself short. We all gotta start somewhere.

    P.S. Johnny (Cash) says thanks!

  • what scale is this?

  • HO scale. I'm curious if you thought it was a different size and what led you to think so.......do tell.

  • wtf this is the same as number 6 T_T

  • This IS part #5.

    Part #6 IS part #6.

Parts 3, 4, 5, & 6 are all filmed on the same layout at the same time. I can only post 10 minutes at a time so I broke it into 4 parts.

  • at 3:48 how do you unhook the cars like that

  • I stopped the train and then reached in with my hand and uncoupled it - lightning fast!

  • oh cool thanks XD

  • Actually, I edited out my reaching in when I was putting the movie together. The train stops, I uncouple it, and then I move the engines. Looks pretty good after splicing the pieces back together.

  • Where do you get all the cars? I could really use a yard tramp!

  • I've been buying HO scale trains for 35+ years. I have a very large collection.

  • how long did it tack to make this layout

  • Since this is modular in construction, it is hard to say. This club has been together 10 years and someone is always working on a new piece of the puzzle.

  • Nice Layout!

  • What model is that switcher wesolint?

  • It's Broadway Limited with sound.

  • I love seein this stuff wish knew of a place u could see this at in Georgia around lawrenceville Ga in gwinnett county

  • Wasn't that first song from a commercial on TV?

  • The title is "Song For America" by Kansas. Also a piece of it is the ending music too.

  • Unless you're speaking of the Johnny Cash tune - it's by Johnny Cash and it is used in a motel commercial.

  • Yeah, that's what I thought! Thanks!

  • love the johnny cash it creates a old rustic atmusphere sumhow awsome trains kool video

  • Thanks!

  • Love the music in these videos!!! narriton start, and jk!!

  • Watch Out!!! The UP Borg is about to asimalate the SP!!! Resistance is Futile..

Oh what a world! what world!

  • Our deepest sympathy goes out to the SP and their deferred track maintenance program..We will attempt to merge your road into ours and begg our shareholders to put more money in our maintenance program for trackwork...Uncle Pete

  • LOL! You crack me up! I think you meant this comment for mtrails, but I enjoyed the hell out of it!

  • love all the BN action keep up the good work

  • I couldn't resist putting music to at least one of the parts.

  • Wow great episode again! The switching is very well done!

  • Thanks.

  • Love the Johnny Cash!!!

  • Me too!

  • make more these are awesome these sets you film at in one building? And whats the name of the 2nd song and who is it by.

    keep it up

  • If you are asking about the closing music at the end with the credits, it's just a different piece of the same song called "Song For America" by Kansas.

  • Please keep these awesome vids coming! Again, you and your model railroading club do outstanding work! Watching these NEVER GROW OLD!

Loved the Johnny Cash tune. Seems appropriate for this clip!

  • I thought the song was appropriate too - Thanks.

  • Very Very Realistic Setup. Two Thumbs Way Up!

If you get a chance, please check out my Polar Express Christmas Village.

  • Thanks and I will.

  • Very cool

  • Thank you

  • Cool! great job... does any of those tigers still exist or are they a all repainted or retired?

  • The tiger SD60s were very short lived on the BN. They were actually demonstrators from EMD and were returned. They did however, pave the way for the Oakway SD60s, which are still roaming the BNSF system today!

  • Man thay should've kept a 1 at least.

  • Waht a cool video. Great song too. That fits to the series. Great yard you have. Can not wait to see the next part.

  • Thank you friend.

  • Cool vid hope you come out with more

  • Part 6 will be posted next week.

  • Is that a working rotary beacon on those BN units? Cool!

    Nice video as always.

  • Yes and Thanks!

  • love it!!!! i have favorited them all!!! lol nice work boys

  • Thanks. It's great to know that our efforts are appreciated.

  • Excellent song choice! Can't go wrong with Johnny Cash..Video is excellent too!

  • Yeah Johnny!

  • This is another amazing video! The song choice was ok, but I think there could've been a better song. Thanks for uploading this and I give this video 4 stars.

  • What else has been everywhere besides trains across america?

  • It was a rhetorical question.
