Kuroda sensei videos look and found a deterrent sword in the Edo period was completed. Once the power of sword was known to the person who people look at their manners. But it would no longer make sense with the advent of guns.
Videos like this really makes me wish I could devote my entire life to traditional japanese martial arts, etiquettes and ways. To every day follow the way of Bushido.
