Great video can u explain the mastery shit,im so fucking lost,how many mastery i need? now what stat i need to stack? dodge,parry or mastery that gives block rating? it would be awesome if u can explain the % i need :)
@arcangel2445 - Post 1 - The basic concept of mastery to advance more than one ability at a time. For Example: Mastery affects Damage Reduction, Vengeance, Block Amount. So the more mastery points you have the more these areas will be affected. The best way I can help you understand the percentages is if you go to your talent tree summary, and mouse over the mastery section in the prot tree it will tell you that mastery affects XXX. Post 2 - Ok, Now if you go under your character window and fold open your stats section you will see mastery in the list. If you mouse over it you will see a percentage of how much affects what stats. I hope that clears some things up for you. I am under the impression that Dodge, Parry.. are still affected the way they used to be except that defense has been removed from gear but if you do get it more than one stat is affected. I would Prioritize - Mastery, Parry, Doge
@evilchimp77 - Only for now until cata comes out because vengeance is not at full bloom cuz tank health is way to low to really take advantage of the extra threat vengeance gives.
@jaymoney1513 - Yeah it was a bit ridiculous.. It seems like I couldn't hold it.. Now keep in mind I don't have any mastery on my gear.. The reason this matters is mastery affects vengeance, and vengeance helps a tank hold aggro.. I have tanked with my druid on Cata Beta, and Threat is balanced so much better there, so I think it is a Hurdle we will have to deal with until cata comes out and balances threat out properly.
@indigoseth Hey mate great video, i like how "to the point" your Information is.
I read recently they have increase threat generated by our Righteous Fury by 300% same goes for Defensive stance (War) Blood Pressence (DK) and Bear Form (Druid) maybe this will help alot on Live servers ?
@Dravae1983 - Thanks! I try to be direct and give everyone the information I would be looking for :).. The Threat Buffs sound awesome, I have plaid in Cata beta, and I can tell you that the threat didn't work anything like it did on ptr thats for sure.
