if the shape of the collector parabolic contoured to match the the position of the sun.then the device could stay stationary as the sun could reflect equally through out the day/////fundamentally the sun is not flat there for the flat collector is not the most efficient
@IdahoViewing Sorry, I've just relaunched my website thus not everything was available yet. I added the schematics and sourcecode for the microcontroller now. It is availble under the link in the video description!
Hey, check out my website at ScientificallyGreener(Dot) com and get all the new and improved Equipments to build or buy your own solar panels and wind energy turbine systems ScientificallyGreener(Dot) com is a website that sells the most modern environmental products available
Seemingly, very simple design with huge application potential. I like to tinker with solar projects. Did you find the schematics and/or circuit diagram for this project? I'd like a copy?
Its is likely basic comparators (op-amps), two photo resistors and relays to a motor. The comparator drives the motor to balance the energy hitting the photo resistors placed at 45 degree angles. Simple but effective.
Well not exactly, there are no op-amps but a PIC 16F628A microcontroller. I've written a software for it that reads out the Foto resistors and then decides what to do.
But I already sent him the Circuit Diagram... but now I can't find it anymore

@IRONMAIDENFAN2006 See the link in the Video-Description ;-) I think there is everything you'll need.

@Kaktus621 All I see is a basic design concept and project description......

Hi! I'm really glad that so many people like my project.
I searched through my backup directories and YES I found some files related to the project here and there...
I have put them onto my server, so everyone can download it. See the Movie description for the url (youtube doesn't allow URLs in comments...)
The description.pdf is written in German language, sorry for that =)

Thanks! I hope to provide a video response with my build in the near future.

Once Again, Could U Send Me The Circuit Diagram For This?

Do You Have The Schematics for this? Because I Would like to build one for myself for an electonics class.
