  • if the shape of the collector parabolic contoured to match the the position of the sun.then the device could stay stationary as the sun could reflect equally through out the day/////fundamentally the sun is not flat there for the flat collector is not the most efficient

  • Its is likely basic comparators (op-amps), two photo resistors and relays to a motor. The comparator drives the motor to balance the energy hitting the photo resistors placed at 45 degree angles. Simple but effective.

  • Well not exactly, there are no op-amps but a PIC 16F628A microcontroller. I've written a software for it that reads out the Foto resistors and then decides what to do.

    But I already sent him the Circuit Diagram... but now I can't find it anymore
