That being said, I'm glad that UT-UGA has developed into such a fierce rivalry, especially since I have a buddy that goes to UGA. What great history? Florida has more Heisman winners (3 vs. 2) and more National Championships (3 vs. 1) and we currently are 16-3 vs. Georgia in the last 19 years.

Newsflash...no one cares about the Litkenhaus poll (only one) who had Georgia #1 in their final poll in 1968 or in 1946 when the Williamson poll (only one) had Georgia #1.
No one in their right mind would count those, except maybe a delusional Georgia fan. If it ain't BCS, AP or Coaches (also known as UP/UPI/ESPN-USA Today, etc.) it's not worth the paper it's printed on.

Prior to 1936, there were NO consensus titles (Associate Press/UP/UPI/Coaches). In 1942, Ohio State won the AP title, NOT Georgia. Notre Dame won it in 1946, NOT Georgia. Ohio State won both AP and Coaches (UPI) title in 1968, NOT Georgia.

i was 13 during the hob-nailed boot so i hadn't seen too many "big" come-backs like that, not under goff and donnan.
the "miracle on the plains" was HUGE too. considering it was 3rd and long with 90 secs left i figured they would try to get short yardage and go for the TD on 4th down. THATS what made that play so exciting!!

I'm a UT fan. I was at the "Hobnail Boot" game in '01, it was absolutely gut-wrenching, just sickening. Since that time, especially after watching your team dancing on our T at midfield, Georgia has become one of my top teams I love to beat. That being said, I'm glad that UT-UGA has developed into such a fierce rivalry, especially since I have a buddy that goes to UGA. Anyway Munson was/is the bomb, what John Ward was to Tennessee, THE voice of the team. Cool vid and Go Vols, see ya next fall.

I am a proud Alumnus, and we have a very proud SEC football history only outdone by Tennessee and Alabama.
But boys, we have to get back to basics and get rid of all this dancing and thug-like behavior. Champions go the extra yard, run the extra mile and never quit. Thank God that Coach Richt has brought us back......but we have a LONG way to go. Leadership starts from the top and Coach Richt needs to make some coaching changes if we are going to win more championships.
