First of all, Falun Gong is an Ancient Cultivation practice.
Second, the wicked CCP outlawed it in 1999. Before that, from 1992 when the practice was first taugh by Master Li Hongzhi, it was immensely popular and even endorsed by the government, by media, by word-of-mouth. I suggest that people who are here don't even watch this slanderous propaganda video only go to the official Falun Dafa website, or FalunInfo, to get a better understanding of what Falun Gong really is.
cult. first off, qi gong is individual, it is like medicine. Falun Gong is definitely not a cult. It is a practice for refining mind and body, and uplifting one's morality. Any good person will see that what the CCP is doing is really horrible. Ever since it came into existence, it has ruthlessly killed those who stood in their way. Falun Gong practitioners never posed a threat to the CCP - and they are not interested in gaining political power; they just want to become better people. But Jiang Zemin saw the number of practitioners as a threat to him.
This kind of demonization of a religious group in conflict with communist, atheist doctrine is infective outside of China. Cause the only reason people in China believe the countless propaganda shows like this one is cause they are too afraid to raise their heads and openly disagree with the Party policy of "wiping out the cancerous Falun Gong". Falun Gong really is Great. It does great things for civility by encouraging people to look within. Have you ever met any practioners?I've never in my life ever heard Falun Gong referred to as Felon goon, and i practiced for 2 years and am still in touch with lots of practioners.which indicates to me that they aren't actually called that. To me it seems to be people who haven't much knowledge of the practice and have heard negative things from other sources who make negative and sweeping comments about it.why not try more balanced sources?
there are some amazing practitioners out there who are extremely kind and tolerant and put the rest of us to shame... how can practicing truth, compassion and tolerance be stupid or dangerous?
