This is a good start. I agree that less time between quips would really help. Also, try not to sound like you're reading off a page. Maybe... just adlib more? That's the kind of thing I like.
Hey, it's great that you're doing this and this was a solid first episode. Something to note in the future is regional differences for games, for example in the JP version of Alex Kidd the loser gets undressed in the Janken game. Also, these early semi-3D games would probably have been more playable had they been put on larger cartridges.
You rule, Sewart. I sure have missed your work since the good old days of EGM, so this is definitely a welcomed find. Much appreciation for the hard work. Looking forward to many more.
Awesome, keep it up man. Can't wait for the Saturn one. Don't forget to mention all the great fighting imports on the Saturn and how much of a 2D beast machine it was, so sexy.
Greg, it was pretty strange to hear you talking without being interrupted by Phil and CJ - strange in a good way though. This was good stuff, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with for future videos.
This is pretty cool. I think you should be narrating sort of off the cuff though. Like just have some bullet points laid out that you hit while you talk, instead of reading it like a script.
@BFKAnthony817 I would definitely like to do videos beyond this series, but I'm going to continue concentrating on this for now. Generation 16 will eventually encompass the Sega CD and 32X, of course :)
Oh just fantastic. I love this and everything about this. By all means, please do more. I'll watch everything you do as long as you keep up this quality.
Great video! Keep up the good work! =)

This is great! Though it needs more quick cuts at the very end of your sentences, sometimes even mid word.

I loved this and I can't wait to see more. Especially when you get to the Shining Force stuff. :D

Nice that the "Get Ready" voice is NOT from the Space Harrier arcade, it's from After Burner at the takeoff scene!

That was real good, so are you going to cover the entire life span of the genesis year by year?

@killamonkey That's the plan. I'm planning for 5-ish titles each episode, just to keep the wait between each one relatively short.

@Drusyc Yeah, I definitely have to work on my delivery. With enough practice, I'm sure it'll come :)

I loved the show! However, the Mark 1000 was released in 1983 (on the same day as the famicom), not in 1984!

Excellent video! I really wish we had gotten that bizarre Japanese platformer in the US. It looked pretty damn cool!

Wow epic man! I look forward to your Generation 32 and 128 series!
Oh, you didn't say anything about making videos for the Saturn and Dreamcast? Well this video is so good, how can you deny your new fans of that?
