  • Just a quick question:

    How long does the test run take before the new train actually start service?

    Do you remember how long the test run took for E233 on the Chuo line before its debut date after Christmas of 2006? Or how long did Yamanote Line's E231-500's test run took before it debut in April of 2002?

  • About 3 months.

    First running of E233(Chuo line type) was on 21 September and debut was on 28 December.
