All of you who don't believe sweeny Todd was real he was a real person way back in early days instead of slicing there throats then dumping them out of the chair he would dump them out the chair and on the 100 foot fall they would break there neck on the concrete floor and if they where still alive he would go down there and slice there throat I'm not sure if they actually ever caught him or he committed suicide

I think this version is much better, because it shows that Todd realizes the atrocity's he has committed and shows guilt, remorse, and also hopelessness and decides to take his life as penance for the wrongs he has committed, especially poignant after the discover that he killed his wife. More realistic in my opinion.
