We had him singing for us a 12:30 in the morning as we awaited the arival of our plane to gate D2 this summer. We were scedualed to depart at 8:30 but our plane was held at an other airport because of a bomb threat. So he had to stay and load the bags onto the plane (he is a ramp agent) and he got us all "lost in the rock & roll.

The sad thing is, this man is a dying breed. Southwest used to be VERY enthusiastic about bringing the humor factor into their flights... but they got a new CEO or something who wanted to reform that whole bit.

That's not true. He's not a dying breed. There are tons of fun members of Southwest. We are trained to be ourselves and we can sing dance, do whatever to make the passengers enjoy themselves. Our CEO has nothing to do with employees not wanting to be fun. It's the passengers faults who complain and find it offensive that makes us have to watch what we say or do.
