  • That swing is real sic! Keep it up homie!

  • THIS DUDE IS SICK

  • nice..

  • yeeee love that sp swiiing

  • i not likey!!!!!

  • seriously the worst thing you can do to a producer is compare them to someone else or say they use an element of someone elses style... big slap in the face!! music is music the elements are all the same its what you do with it to make it unique... i can't do nothing but smile when i hear the sp bang... oh and much swing indeed even in quantize the sp swings better than the mp unless you turn the timing on the mp off and freak it...

  • yo J.Force I always wanted to ask if you were the same J.Force that allegedly never got credit for making the "LA LA" beat for Marley back in the day?

  • I come from the land down under...

  • got that premier feel 2 it

  • missing just a 'little' bit of swing...deifnitely one of primo's signature hats though.

  • what? lol, get the fuck outta here man, that beat is outstanding, especially for a first take....talkin bout swing...that shit had much swing....

  • hey bro..u dope...you got beats! peace

  • hating on loops might as well hate on hip hop... go listen to lil kim or something

  • SP1200 + SL1200 = Instant Hip Hop

  • HAHAHA. im diggin the record chillin to the left of the SP. i have the same record.......those are all drums..... thats VOL1..... i got the shit too

  • DOPE!!!...nice beat bruv!

  • dope man, you one of my favorite youtube beatmakers!!

    keep them beats pumping!!!!!!

  • What battle record is he using?

  • It's good I like the scratching on the beat real hip hop! Dope beat and melody! The beat when this vid comes on at first is fire!!!!!! Check me out on the mpc 2000xl !

  • Wauw jij ben goed kerol ;)!

  • i hate how people are hatin on loops, if u find a dope ass loop and u cant do shit with it but loop it do yur shit, just make sure u make them drums better than the original

  • dope beat man, definitely feeling it!!

  • I was watching this and noticed the Record to the left of the SP (Drum Liberary Vol 4)I then looked to my left and saw the same Record looking at me,hah odd

  • dope beat, but are you saying he sampled the drums from a break beat record? . I don't get why cats do that. I like to sample everything from its original vinyl. sampling from breaks is too easy.

  • Nah,I was just talking about the record to the left of the SP,I have that record and have chopped snares/kicks off it,those records are good aswell.

I never sample loops, always make my own shit.

  • thats what I'm talking about. I don't like to sample from those records PERIOD. I prefer to dig for my own stuff meaning going through a record to find a snare, a kick, hats, what ever. having a whole stock of drums on one record thats made for you to use is kinda being lazy

  • You're heavy J. When are you gonna drop an album?

  • I can't take it. SOMEBODY SEND ME A MP3 OF THIS!

  • Fire!

  • I wish there was a full video of the first ten seconds! Peace.

  • That's fucking amazing man

  • REAL LIVE SHIT!

  • for all thoze

  • breath of fresh air, you should produce for major hip hop artists

  • HE does...he's my uncle

  • hip hop untainted

  • crazy shit....don't listen to these dumb heads tryin to make lil' bitchass critiques....ain't a damn thing wrong with this beat at all son....your a talented producer man...got that SP down to a sweet science....

  • Where I can I buy this shit?

  • Mad props for keeping it old school. I see the sp1200, one of the first pioneer cd players, the old-school gemini 626 and of course my personal favorite, the technic 1200.

  • no, its the gemini s-676!

  • Yea it is....My bad!

  • beat is real ill man. do your thing

  • A bit of advice to you guys, you might wanna just replace the AUDIO track in the video with a high quality audio recording (use a seperate line-in), so the audio don't sound so distorted. Mad respect for making these videos... I'm a huge fan! ++ DRUMAT!C.1

  • hey, good advice, but it's not that serious to us. these are more or less unplanned videos that we do on the spot, with a really basic camera. at some point, we may shoot something in hd or do a video for a fully mixed instrumental track. thx for listening, drumatic.

  • Please upload more like this. It's really refreshing to see cats rocking out on the SP-1200. I love it!

  • the clicking sound of the SP's buttons always cracks me up lol.

  • AMAZING, he's just messing around and that is one the DOPEST beats I've ever heard. Keep to It J.Force.

  • cool beat, but you should stop sampling those "DRUM LIBRARIES" you got there. get your own shit instead.

    peace

    f.

  • fredfades- why should he stop? also, just because the paul nice record is on the shelf next to the sp, that doesn't necessarily mean he used it for this particular beat (he didnt).

either way, break records have been around for a while, and have been used by new and established record producers.

would you discredit marley marl for using UBB records to make some of his classic productions? i doubt it.

many of the producers you probably respect have used break records and library sounds.

  • I thought the drums sound fine, they just need to be mixed a little better with the samples. But an engineer can do that when an emcee lays down some vocals.

  • Word. Engineers are like the alchemists of the music industry. Peace.

  • yeah i agree, shut up FredFades

  • @producerworld what he just said.

  • HAHAHAH - funny as shit - I was just about to say that... I can see the DRUM LIBRARY. Sure we all have those Dj tools to use and I have them as well... but I also have over 400 original drum breaks on wax. I use a lotta dj tool records for quick accents. J-FORCE is ill no doubt! ++ DRUMAT!C.1

  • Thats' my dude right there from 1986..Yeah J-Force has been rocking that long...My dude has mad history with him. Like we say everything is always 360 degrees. We bringing that " choke yo momma" sound back...The game has been missing it for some time now....Be on the lookout....TRUST ME...

  • So when's the mixtape

    dropping? Soon I hope.

  • ok, hands down this is THE DOPEST sp1200 video on youtube. these other cats need to press delete and call it a day.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • heavy

  • Sounds DOPE!!

  • Hot Shit..Props

  • great! i like it, 5*

  • Thats so dope. Love the sound that comes out that SP

  • YO Force reminds of that shit from back in the day in that Rahway hangout HAHAHA, Old School shit nice and real,if they only knew what you have in store if they only knew!!!!
