All the FUTURE He forwards in his gift to humanity..// watch LA PAROLA IN CUATRO and merge with the greatest pronouncement of highest science, as He reveals all Creation. Watch and rejoice…this is Real !! Yes, it is He ! @ La Parola In Cuatro. (He even looks like ZEUS !!) + I’ve enjoyed your video

  • I like the anthem Jana Gana Mana SOOOOOOOOOOOOO Much !!!

  • I like the way Lata ji pronounces the words than how Jashjit ji does.. Its "Jana Gana Mana" and NOT "Jan Gan Man"... Please, lets respect the way the anthem was written... :|

  • @karthikmurs stop being critical, its all good if sung with the right feeling.

  • @dteasers I agree :)

  • long live .JAI HIND

  • Well..even I thought that Dravidian were more like a race, though even so what? U mean to say everyone other than Dravids shall leave India? Being Indian is a much more greater thing...Indian is a race made of many races and religions and is supreme example of tolerance and coexistence.

  • Aryan is a race grouping, Dravidian is a language grouping,

Chalk and cheese! Apples and Oranges!

  • Jagjit singh is the GOD of Indian Music.. Long live Jagjit Singh

  • jai hind

  • nationalism, as well as patriotism, is like our breath.

  • Jai Hind

  • Cool, I only know the first two lines :) Eventhough I am 5th generation NRI, i would still like to memorize this anthem :) I love Indiaaaaaaa :)

  • বাংলা উচ্চারণটার বারোটা বাজানি হইতাছে। খারাপ লাগল। লতা মুঙ্গেশকরকেও দেখলাম অন্য উচ্চারণে গাইতাছে। ভালো লাগল না।

  • great tune....

    long live India-Bangladesh Friendship

    ----love from Bangladesh

  • @anambd1971 hey u r u gay bitch

  • Dont get upset apdx2009

they used a Raaga and imposed Jana Gana Mana on that.

    changing tune was necessary

  • Thanks for your insightful response. Im not upset, Im scared. Jagjitji is a celebrity, people get inspired by them. If people like me start experimenting then someday we might not recognize our National Anthem. Jagjitji can experiment with Ragas but why with National Anthem? Rabindra Nath Tagore, is no stranger to Indian Classical music, he knew what fits best with the words. Ive never seen such experimentation for any other country! Why us?

  • Dear apdx,

Why us? Because we are the oldest surviving civilization of the world.

Only ancient surviving civilization of the world. Only civilization that accepts two contradictory philosophies. Jainism and Charbak together.

We did not write Vedas for thousands of years, so that change happens. Collectively we survive. This is the civilization where genetically superior race was created artificially....

Our seed is "collective co-existence" "basudhaiva kutumbakam", so feed proud.

  • Dear Anirban.

This topic is not an easy one that can be closed on youtube! it's a provocative topic. I am impressed with your "liberalism", yet that should not be over extended! I am all for "coexistence" for making things better not to loose our glorious tradition in the "experiments". I enjoyed this conversation. Thanks again!

  • @apdx2009 Friend, It's not Jagjit ji who has experimented with National Anthem. There are around 30 Legendary singers of the country who have sung the National Anthem in this manner. All credit for this experimentation & slow tune goes to the 'Great' A. R. Rahman.

  • beautiful

  • Hmmm...interesting comment. I am a Bengali and like to know why do you feel its racist against South Indians in particular? I, for instance, get immersed in it, particularly the way, Jagjit Singh sings it. Absolutely wonderful to me.

  • clubbing all south indians as dravidians..

  • it's well established now that there is no arya-dravid division, but genetical imprint has been found to be continuous for many thousands of years.

The song was written in those days when indian population was known to be having two major groups, the arya (arians) and dravid.

at any rate, the beauty of this song is in the inherit idea that "atma" or the soul of india exists and expressed through all devisions.

Also it might be difficult to club all names in four lines and keep the rithym.

  • Well I did not know that calling South Indians dravidians, was an insult to them, just like I did not know, calling a black person as Negro was an insult. Question is did Tagore know this? I had a feeling that Tagore, while writing this song, obviously would not have spread hatred through it, as it ought to be a song from a poet of national stature and he definitely did not want to be termed as racist. Paul Robson once wrote a famous song, using "Negro" word in it, glorifying them. Let's think!

  • @somudro1 dravidians is not a word of insult for south indians. infact, The most basic division of the Indian society is of Aryans and Dravidians. North Indians are aryans and south Indians are Dravidians.

Aryans arrived in north India somewhere from Iran and southern Russia at around 1500 BC. Before the Aryans, the Dravidian people resided in India.

So basically DRAVIDIANS are the Real people who were actually residing in India from ancient times.

    Jai Hind!

  • ami -o bangali

  • dont mind you being against the writer, or the song itself.. but its is the Indian National Anthem and as long as it has that status , and you consider yourself Indian, you CANNOT insult it with words like shit. You should be ashamed of yourself. Chanel your protest in the right direction. using cheap words to insult something of national importance is disgusting

  • @shubhradev WTF? You even dont know what the hell you talking about?

These are not words like shit.. these are words of pure and prospective India

    Stop racial division.

  • keep your mind open many tranlasions have been made

  • @quickfixyz i agree with u

  • Jai Bharat Mata

    Jai Bhavani

  • Js has rendered it beautifully, simply majestic otherwise who cares about these dumb boundries!

  • Jana gana mangal & Jagjit Sigh = Soul of India

  • @bhavra1962 i will kill both of them

  • wah!!
