@thatniggbeme7 I exported in 720p in flv. I do not recall all the settings but I don't believe I changed much, if anything. I was using CS4 so it exported through adobe media encoder.
@ProjectSquaredPride I used premiere pro and just added the "letterbox" template. You can do the same thing with either cropping the video, or putting black mattes where you want it cut off!
@lshow123 If i remember correctly, I lowered the brightness, raised contrast, lowered saturation, and messed with a three-way color corrector. That's it. Oh and letterboxed it.
@GorillaMarketTV Nah I was seeing what i could do w/o cine mode. I shot it in 1/60th TV mode. I wanted to get that 180 degree shutter. I shot it in 30p cuz i didn't want to mess with pull down.
That looks great to me. Would you mind telling me what kind of computer you use or the specs. I have this camera and my PC cant even playback th MTS files. I'm looking into a macbook pro- do you have trouble playing or editing the files?
I use a 2.8 ghz dual core imac with 2 gigs of ram. I hope to uprade my ram soon when i get some cash. in order to play the files, you need a player like vlc, but that even gives a really bad playback. My workflow is through imovie, which imports the files from my camcorder onto the computer into a format that is a lot easier to handle on the computer than the raw AVCHD files.
i then take those files and import them into adobe premiere pro and edit in there. It works fairly well, but once you add effects like color correction, it slows down a lot...I don't think a macbook pro would be your best bet for hd editing. I'd go with a quad core of some sort. My brother is building a quad core right now, and I'll be stealing that from him a lot to edit. haha.
hi im tryin to render to get the awesome quality u have. can u tell me how to render uncompressed in premiere pro?

did you use imovie or adobe premiere for the color correction?

@DylanW216 I used Premiere Pro for the color correction. The only thing I used iMovie for was to import the clips on to my computer.
