don't u think in the ending of halo 3 cheif floats to the remains of reach to see what it's like or maybe to see if kelly or any other of his friends r alive?

@pwnageguy100 Chief stumbled on to the remains of the Forerunner planet.

If you compare the look of the planet at the end of Halo 3 and the look of the planet in the "Origins part 1" episode of Halo: Legends, you'll see the similarities.

Oh, and my own opinion of the Halo 3 Legendary ending would have to be that the chief is floating toward planet Onyx (SPOILER: ya know after it exploded) and will meet up with Dr. Halsey and the rest of the Spartans. Now that would be AWESOME. (maybe not cause the book mentions that the planet was comprised of sentinels and the planet looked pretty solid to me in the ending).

In relation to the Legendary ending of Halo 3 I'm not sure if anyone else saw it but on the surface of the planet that the frigate is drifting toward you should see the faint outline of the Marathon logo. I'm not too sure what it could indicate but maybe bungie could be revisiting one of their earlier creations. Just my speculation but who knows, right?

You are almost 100% correct except for a few things. Halo: Uprising just tells us what happens between Halo 2 and Halo 3, it doesn't have the storyline of Halo 3 itself. The story is probably too short to have a game made after it. Also quite a few survived Reach like, Will, Kurt, Linda, Kelly, Fred, and a few more. Some retired Spartans weren't even at Reach. Dr. Halsey also survived Reach. As for the last structure in Halo 3 I don't know what it is. Some people say it's Onyx. Who knows.

wouldnt it be cool that after the portal, at the end of halo 3, master chief went through time and is arriving at a forunner planet just in the middle of the forunner/flood war. That would be a cool new trilogy.

That would be cool. Who knows what it might be, it's probably a Forerunner scructure so anything could happen. Microsoft has made so much money off Halo they will probably continure the story. I'm hoping the structure at the end of Halo 3 is where the spartans that are alive and Dr. Halsey their creator is stuck. The Chief can rescue his teammates then something crazy can happen, like forerunner being alive still. Many cool things can happen, I hope they make the next trilogy awesome. :D

that might happen, remember in halo 1 where they went back to the control room from the library and after cortona told the chief the truth of what halo does guilty spark told the chief quote," last time you ask me, will i do it...." the chief never met guilty spark before so he might have gone through time somhow, we wont know till its all over.

You know Halo: The Flood basically has the same storyline Halo: CE Evolved right? I doubt any of those books you mentioned will have a game to with it. Except Reach, ofcourse, which has a game being released for it in 2010. Reach is only having a game after it because the fight in the book is HUGE and after humans lost it to the Covenant they basically thought they lost the war. Many Spartans died there too. Jeez I'm talking too much. :'(

Right. Halo the Flood was with the first Halo (Combat Evolved)

Contact harvest should be out lol. And First Stirke. also Ghosts of Onyx. and Uprising(Looks awesome cause Uprising is Halo 3).

But Reach is a planet of course and I never read the book and I think all the spartans died there and master chief was the last of his kind. Cause in the end of Halo 3 (on Legendary) we viewers saw a planet which is Reach. And you were right the Covenant took that planet over from the humans.

Noo noo the last time John saw one of his fellow Spartans was before the Pillar of Autumn began flying to Installation 04 (Beginning of Halo: CE Evolved). The last Spartans he saw was Linda, who was shot in the back and thought to be dead by him when they were flying away from Reach. This comic takes place after Halo 2 so a couple of months have passed since he saw Linda. He did however go on many missions with Kelly and Fred, and many other Spartans that died on Reach. God I'm a nerd.
