I'm not sure what Benzino talkin bout but the story as Pac told it in the march 96 issue of the source was that tribe was accepting their award an' whoever was runnin' the show messed up n' started playin' Pac's song... so Pac jus' went on stage wit his crew n' started performing... you don't see it in the video but the crowd starts booing which was why Pac started goin' off at the end before he threw the mike down... He said in the interview that New York ain't show 'em no love.
