Nice Wallach walk. Thats where all the face painting and balloon animals are. So it looks to me that the important thing is to complete all the steps and create a map. Does the map start at wallach walk? You then would go to bosco the dog statue,then under the tunnel (cave) and down liberty walk, (between the Shakespere and Columbus stature (king shakespere and columbus rook) and head to the chess house. From the chess house I guess we await the next set of instructions.

A few thoughts: Doesn't sound like 48 armies, sounds more like "Battle of the Armies," which could either be a reference to Grand Army Plaza or the Chess and Checkers house. Morse Code is very Difficult, there is some loss in the video, and its hard to find the breaks. The first word is Start, and the last is Walk. I Seems to be an L, and an A, and a C, and an H before "walk". I was looking at the parks path names, there is a lilac walk and a Liberty walk, and things called arch.

Chess and Checkers House, inside the Park at 65th Street just west of the Dairy, offers 24 outdoor chess and checker tables. A pergola offers plenty of shade.

That means 2 armies per board times 24 tables = 48 armies...

i think i know about the 48 armies. first of all let me point out that i've never went to central park before though i'm from new york; i'm a brooklynite but i did get a picture of the map of central park. anyways for the 48 armies when armies are going to war what is one important thing they need...weapons. and where would you find weapons at arsenal.
