@bigSlide94 comon, can you honestly say that oasis were more talented then the verve they may have been more successful but just listen to the lyrics in there songs and you will truly see the genius richard ashcroft really is. hes one of the best son writers and the past 15 years. fact. it bugs me when we have young teeny pop stars who are multi millionaires and people think its good music. wrong. this is GOOD music and it will live on in peoples memorys.

Nah, it is shit compared to their other stuff. Ask the reast of the band other than ashcroft, they want to play proper music not the mickey mouse stuff that oasis play. Listen to their albums before urban hymns. A Storm in Heaven IS the best album ever made, none of these crap ballads. Thats not the verve, the verve is nick mccabe crashing in with guitars while richard ashcroft sings about drugs. I listen to the verve almost exclusively and trust me there are only three good songs on urban hymns

@bigSlide94 Oasis are in no way better than the verve, neither of the gallagher brothers are better songwriters than ashcroft and in nick mccabe verve have one of the best guitarists ever. Oasis make pop music, made for the radio, made to stand beside lady gaga and that rubbish, the verve (before urban hymns) made music that is for proper fans of music, not those who want pop tunes like wonderwall and DLBIA. Listen to proper verve like a man called sun.
