"The effect of holding a secret for so long is never having the freedom to be you" Man, did I need to hear that!! Also, the problem with holding onto anger for year after year without giving it over to God is it leads to complete despair.....death! The road of recovery is not about recovery of self, I learning it's about repentance for turning away from God rather than turning towards Him in moments of pain and suffering.  Another paradox of growth in Christ, but oh so true.
