In MW 2 it was cool going through it the first time, music went well with what was happening most of the time... but when i went through ODST i felt much more immersed into the universe, the music always fit what was happening, and i like the way it sounded. What I believe ruined MW2 is the fact that its now mainstream. When COD4 was out it was the underdog that was fighting big bad Halo 3, but now its caught the Halo disease and almost EVERYONE knows what MW is. I liked ODST's soundtrack more. It's more original too. Hugely different from other video game soundtracks, especially the prior Halo games. Hans Zimmer is a great composer, I just prefer Marty, being the Halo fan I am. I also loved the overall feel of ODST's soundtrack, especially the piano and saxophone. It worked really well with the hub world of New Mombasa.
