Wel is het verhaal sterk overgebracht. De film is beter dan Blue.

that was one of the best short films i have seen in a long time. it brings such emotion to the surface with words needed. truly universal in it suject matter, it even brought tears to my eyes.
Good job, liked it. Only criticism I could offer is that there's too shallow DoF in a lot of the shots... kind of makes it look more like a commercial, and less like a film.
I have to say that while I liked BLUE, this one one surpasses. It is exactly the right sort of story for the style and tone of these films - the boy's loss broke my heart - but i was so moved by the father's choice to break thru to him in the end.

How old is the writer, and where are you guys from? What is the significance of the bike grease? I absolutely loved this. Lighting was awesome, photography was awesome, and the acting was pretty good as well.

Good question about the grease. I just took it to be an example of the little tragedies that the boy has to endure, that are harder because of the major tragedy of losing his mother and father.

Remy, ik heb niet bepaald veel verstand van films en wat erbij komt kijken, maar ik vind dit echt goed. Super mooie shots, goede geluiden en als je zit te kijken voel je een bepaalde spanning! Daarnaast heb je een van mijn favoriete Coldplay songs gekozen, dus daar scoor je bij mij ook punten mee ;) Super goed. En Ruud, jij ook! Je leek heel erg op jezelf maar toch ook weer niet. Dat lijkt me perfect voor een acteur.
