is there a unit of some kind out there that I can just head track a small camcorder (wich camcorder is mounted a few feet away from me) without using a radio transmitter ? Or is that the only way a head tracker works is with radio?
You might want to search for "FPV" model. That is the generic term for this. There have to be some japanese websites for this which likely have circuit charts and will have forums.
