Don't use autofocus. Autofocus was a way to sell cameras to people who didn't think they could operate one.

My camera has autofocus and I only use it once a day. The way to get good video without blurring is to focus the camera on something 18 inches away the LOCK the focus. You will have video that is NEVER out of focus from zero to infinity.
