1st,i hope u got the slight irony in my statement :).

anyways,it's a forward jump so gravity is a (only) cofactor since he is not jumping straight down from a certain height.

so it depends on the angle he lands in, the speed he has when landing, and of course the stability and certainly the suspension of his bike, and his body ,).

i still think it could've worked,still stupid 2 try .).

i'm sure if u do a search on utube,u will find someone who actually made a jump like this successfully.

Your right actually, i saw it, but then my lagging brain somehow managed to dissect your statement.

But take a look at the jump again, he has momentum for about 2 secs, the rest is all downwards ! And it is a massive drop !

Maybe if it wasn't such a large drop and the precision equal to being on rails, maybe he'd make it. He'd have to land on a steep angled slope and be absolutely precise, its just asking too much.
