  • When I draw a line to make a half circle over someone's head, it joins the two points and fills the shape with a colour! How do I stop it doing that? I just want the path. Thanks.

  • Great Tutorial Scott.

    I have a question though...

is it possible to create a margin path so that each line of the text follows a curved path - rather than having to adjust using indents?

    Please let me know, thanks.

  • I am not sure what you are asking. Please be more specific.

  • (i've sent you a message to your profile)

  • I love you man! I was trying to figure out how to do that for a Logo for my team and it took me FOREVER to figure out what I was doing. THANK YOU!

  • You have to have Photoshop CS---sorry.

  • wow i've been working with the pen tool for a long time but i just learned a whole bunch of good stuff! thanks!

  • yep, i clicked on paths option on the top of the screen, but i've ran into another prob. the text doesnt seems to have that squiggily line through the cursor when i place it over the path. any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • hi, i'm stuck on 0:34... i use the pen tool to draw that line, but a shade of blue goes over the drew out area... any ideas what i'm doing wrong? thanks :)

  • no wait... it must be the version i'm running... the text icon only lets me type vertically or horizontially! ><

  • You are using the wrong pen tool option. With the pen tool active, look up at the top (the option bar). Make sure the Paths option is turned on. From what you wrote, I think you are using the Fill pixels option. The "Path" option looks like a small box with the tip of the pen inside the box. Again, this option is located on the options bar near the top of the Photoshop interface (usually under the Image menu option). Then again...it could be the version you are using.

    Hope this helps.

  • thats brilliant Scot! thanks very much!

  • AWSOME VID DUDE!!
